New DDs (Kirika,Alisa, and Mariko)

I admit i dislike the seams but I'm hoping Volks ears will look nicer than my parabox ones. My Zeldas' need these.

 

I have an elf (DDH-06) with paradox ears as well and its soooooooooooo annoying to find a wig that hides the seams T_T Not going through that with another head *sigh*

The skirt option for Kirirka is so cute! I want the outfit even more now...

That's exactly what I said before. Detachable ears mean seams, and the ability for ears to fall off and get lost. I kinda had a sneaking suspicion they would be though, since having them attached would make her head impossible to pull out of the mold.

 

I wonder how they stay on though, magnets, or just tension? And are they transferable to others or are they sculpted specifically for her ears? And finally, would Volks ever release just ears for sale, even in a limited run? Bigger ears open a lot of questions for me.

I still don't like Kirika's face. You can't fit that mouth, and I don't wanna throw funds into attempting to fix something like that.

I however will try to steal one of her sets methinks from my friend. Also I'll probably go after Natsuki and Moe's Gothic dress sets.

I have this feeling Kirika's ears are going to be worth more than her head itself.

 

Looking at the outfits, most of them aren't very interesting, though the MSD rerelease of Green Maple Theresa could be. Also VERY interested in the cheongsam inspired designs, gotta see sizes and prices on those.

The models show a SDGrG girl and a MSD girl. Means can fit DD (Probably M bust, MAYBE L) but could be baggy. I see 6000 JPY at the end of one of the listings...but I can't tell for sure which that one is for. (I think that's the MSD one--which is on the left while the SDGrG is on the right)

Agreed! I've been wanted Moe's goth set ever since its first release, but missed my chance on Volks USA's old site. Nice to know I've got a second chance to get it at cost.

There's also a black one modeled on SD16 that I think said could fit DDDy, so there's at least that. MSD one might be a little froofy for Homura, but man am I tempted to put it on her anyway.

AH! I'm not crazy! I couldn't find the scan for the black one and I SWORE I remembered one.

 

As long as it isn't too fit for a SD16 it could fit DDdy. The last outfit we had like this ( http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NTMzWDQwMA==/z/4CUAAOSwECZUotxE/$_1.JPG ) was made too tightly to properly fit a DDdy. But that was also a proper cheongsam which this is more inspired by so one can hope! Is very pretty either way.

If I can I will! I mean, this is going to be a lottery thing and I'll enter, might even ask my mom to enter as well and sell the stuff I don't want to keep if I win. The prices are pretty reasonable this time which is quite nice.

I like the choengsam based outfits too, but I don't really have an Idea of what I'd do with them so I'll probably pass.

Interesting points from Volks News:

 

1. The Dollpoint heads are being released in Semi-White (Head-08, Head-09, eyes open/closed).
2. SS Bust is being released standard.
3. Unitorso parts are being released standard for 10,000 yen. NS and SWS, from SS up to L Shapely.
4. Kirika's ear parts are removable. (I would like extra pairs. Several of them. )

News I've been wanting to hear for a long time now! Does it say when these will be available?

 

I just got my 09 head in NS, now I'll be able to get a DDS body with an SS bust without so much worry :D

Only Alisa is a bit interesting I think, but I prefer the original Alisa

I've definitely got to try for Mariko now. Everything about her is adorable, and husband said he'd help me pay for her as a birthday gift. Hopefully I'll have a good lottery this time.

 

Also really glad the unitorsos and the SS bust are becoming standard items. It's kinda nice that Volks is paying attention to their Dollfie Dream line a bit as far as the standards are concerned.

Lots of great stuff this time! I think I'm most excited for semi-white DDH-09 (since you could only get them previously in the d'accord one-offs) and the re-released blue millefleure dress. The new Dear SD line uses SD heads on a child-like body, similar to Dollmore Lusion I guess, so don't count on any of their outfits fitting DD or MDD.

Kirika is a must have for me....but I'll probably glue the ears on permanently. .....I'm definitely entering for her and her swimsuit.

Are the date listed on the site just for the clothes or for the doll lottery as well? I'm trying to figure everythig out as this is the first lottery I'm gonna enter

 

Well those dates are just for people going to the Dolpa in Japan which is about the 9th of august. You'll probably be entering into the online after event which is usually 2 weeks afterwards. For that you just click on the doll listing and enter into a lottery which is open for 3 days. Then a few days later the results are announced and if you won you pay for the doll. Clothes usually just go up on the site at a certain time (normally about 11am japan time) on the Saturday of the after event, but be warned they sell out in minutes so it becomes a desperate scramble to get items into your cart while the website lags due to high traffic. It's referred to as a click war. ^^ Once in your cart they are safe for a while so pay when ready.

 

I think Mariko might be going up sooner as part of a different event though?

Interested in mariko and Alisa. But I can do without the clothes. I've never entered a lottery or hosted a split tho I don't even
