Project Rucksack (25.1.2021: starting again... maybe)

Well, this time its not my usual 20-something post, due to various reasions, not all of them that good.

 

But I still wanted to keep myself somewath in motion and decided to kickstart my little rucksack project.

 

Idea being wandering around as them other out doors doll photographers do.

 

For a wanderer I chose Nina (youmu), for various boring reasons, mainly her body being already stained so I dont have to worry about the outfit, and also her body is still the most stiff to make life easier outside.

 

Also them youmu's seem to have dissapeared a bit, so dun hurt to be out with an unpopular one...

 

To set the style Its a bit of a pick and mix with layers of clothing that I can mix and match later on hopefully:

This set is a bit of a peculiar one right for the start, since I was taking these while doing my paper route, I could have re-scheduled, but I really wanted to take photos of the near full moon... unfortunately there was a million mosquitos wanting to have me as their morning buffet... Camera settings are a bit iffish, but im still learning this outdoor stuff..

25.1.2021: Backyard starting line again...

So with Yurucamp starting airing new episodes... I couldnt help but try and take a few more photo's with the wandering ghost, with slightly updated attire for the winter season.

only four shots, and no idea will I continue, but eh ... The wig is not the same fuzzy-rock one, but my faux megumin hack-job ... but its been five years, so hairdo's can change.

I have some ideas, like 3D printing a thermos, but as all my projects seem to be lately. inspiration is fickle.

Also, I think it's great you chose Youmu, no matter for what reasons. Party because it's just fun to see more of her but also because I think she really fits this style.

mm.. youmu's sculpt goes for a tom-boyish look rather well. I guess the heads only great problem is the very small nose, but thats an angle thing I guess..

I like the perspective in the second photo, and the moon in the others is very nice.

Yeah, tom-boy is the style I was thinking about.

I never really thought about the size of her nose but now that you mentioned it, I actually like it a lot.

mm.. the overall package works rather well.. I wish I didnt spam the tartan/beige top so much, but it just works too well for this sort of thing.

She's actually balanced so that if she were to tip, she'd fall backwards.. though if there had been a big gust of wind, she might have ended up in the bushes underneath the bridge..But nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I'm really enjoying all of your pictures. The one where she is resting by the water and the ones where she is climbing the tree, those are my favorites out of the new ones. ^_^

I still have a couple of ideas concerning this theme, but getting to those ideas just for their sake is proving a bit challenging (since I have a garage full of stuff to do at the moment, and rain would be nice for this theme too, but cant be summoned at will).

 

Also the next few sets will be familiar indoors stuff party due to certain inbound things...
