Mirai head in MDD body

i hope i'm at the right thread..so i'm planning on buying a mdd..and i can't choose which head should i buy..then i saw again some Mirai photos..and her cuteness did strike my heart again >.<

but i need to know if the mirai head would actually fit a mdd body, also their skin tone compatibility..

and if i may request photos of anyone who has both mirai and a mdd, i wanted to see how the head would look on mdd body, if they fit, that is

I think you'd have to mod a Mirai head in order to get it to fit on an MDD body, since I believe the neck hole is smaller on Mirai than it is on a MDD?

Yep, the neck hole on the Mirai head is definitely smaller than the peg on an MDD body. You'd have to cut/trim that hole until it was large enuff to slide onto the MDD peg. Not too difficult tho as long as you're adept with an X-acto knife or other type of blade.

 

The one issue you may have is that as of now, the Mirai head is NOT available to purchase separately yet. Danny has hinted that he will *possibly* sell just the Mirai head by the end of this year but nothing concrete yet. He's also mentioned selling blank heads with bodies so people can make their own characters without having to purchase a complete Mirai with clothes/wig/eyes/face up. Still, there's been no date set for when or if this will happen so if You're after a Mirai head right now, you'll have to do a split with someone who wants just the body and clothes and then you keep the head.

There was someone in the split forum who wanted just the body, plus some others who wanted the clothes, but no takers for just the head. That ay be the way to go.
