sleepywolf Posted July 4, 2015 Has anyone bought DD-sized wigs from Dollce? What's your opinion about the wigs? I saw some pictures in the DD database of Dollce wigs but it's a bit hard to tell what the quality is like. In particular if they're stain monsters or not [rimg]http://www.dollfiedreams.com/gallery/image.php?album_id=201&image_id=846[/rimg]
sklurk Posted July 4, 2015 is a dollce wig... no marks anywhere that I can tell. It used to be wavy but I straightened it and I also added some purple into it plus the light and dark blue streak. The original wig itself is made of purple and blue strands mixed together. I would say that it probably loses less hairs during brushing when it was new vs the leeke wigs I have for felicia. This particular colour doesn't seem to be listed on the website though when I got back from japan and looked it up. I'd buy more wigs if I needed a style they had. Also figured I would mention that jenn is wearing the DD size wig. The box is marked DD and I had asked for the DD size in store, but the cap itself seems rather large. I actually darted the cap so it would fit tighter on the 09 head, Jenn is also wearing 2 silicone wig caps to give her hair a bit more volume and a snugger fit to the cap. Katiazza Posted July 5, 2015 I have a wig from Dollce and it's one of my favourites. It's very full, there's no thin spots at all. It's a beautiful fibre that's not too thick or thin so it lays really nicely and flyaways are minimal. It's jet black and the cap is a light skin tone so no staining whatsoever. It does run a little big so I use a wig cap with it (I've used both a silicon wig cap and a cloth wig cap underneath). Honestly, if it wasn't for the proxy fees I would probably buy a ton more from there (and I'm planning on ordering some more soon anyway). waha Posted July 5, 2015 I've got a bunch of wigs by Dollce, and while the fibers/etc are very nice their styling can be a bit hit or miss. A few of my wigs are perfect, and some I've managed to salvage, but one was such a mess there was nothing I could do with it, it was as if they had attached the fibers in the wrong order or something. sklurk Posted July 5, 2015 dollce will ship direct to you, no need to use a proxy. I'm not sure if the info was on the site or the blog but I found it at some point, it had instructions on how to order internationally.
sleepywolf Posted July 6, 2015 Thanks everyone! Sounds like it could be worth trying to get a wig from Dollce. [rimg]http://www.dollfiedreams.com/gallery/image.php?album_id=201&image_id=846[/rimg]
jadepixel Posted July 16, 2015 I got some wigs from them through a proxy. They used nude-color caps so no stains, at least for mine! Agree the styling is hit-or-miss, I found the twin-tails style had the bangs trimmed oddly. Aside from DD I also got a very small 4-5" wig from them, and it's the best wig at that scale I've seen. I'll have to investigate ordering direct next time. some pics for reference: https://www.flickr.com/photos/jadepixel/17823384809/in/dateposted-public/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/jadepixel/15693860882/in/dateposted-public/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/jadepixel/11161628784/in/dateposted-public/ jadepixel doll lab jadepixel eye shop
