Mimiyo3 Posted July 9, 2015 So, My dear Sasara fell apart slightly. I'm not sure what happened since she's just been sitting in the travel case but I noticed her knee acting funny. I found the source of the problem and it's this. I can't figure out how to reattach these pieces. I can't seem to get that one part out of her thigh so it looks like I'll have to work with her that way and I just can't get it. Can someone more experience clue me in on how this should be done? Sorry the pics are blurry. I'm in the car trying to get this sorted out. Present! galatia9 Posted July 9, 2015 Since Sasara is a DDdyIII, you shouldn't have to remove the internal frame from her limbs. They're made to stay together. You should be able to just push the corresponding peg from her limb into the hole you see. It helps if you use a hair dryer to warm the outer vinyl and make it more flexible so you can push it out of your way, making it easier to see the hole. Hope this makes sense! Mimiyo3 Posted July 9, 2015 Yeah. I know what you mean, but I can't get the alignment right no matter what I do. I might have to try the blow dryer thing and hope that helps enough. I really do wish I could get the outer thigh off so I could see what I was doing, but it doesn't look like it can. Present! Took another look and this joint right here Is bent which is what was offsetting her knee and making it wobble. Anyone have luck straightening something like this or should I just buy replacement parts? Present!
