Single torso+ SS bust to become staple option parts

So you guys think we're getting a single torso as option parts now? I seriously hope so! I'm a HUGE fan of them!

I'm also super excited to see that SS bust in the lineup, what do you guys think?

I personally am pretty excited about these. We knew that the SS bust was becoming standard a while back, if I remember right, but they pulled this one out of left field. It's nice to see them paying attention to their standard DD line like they do the SD line. For the longest time the offerings for standards felt so meager.

I've just always loved the single torsos so much, but I feel like they're so hard to find >.< When will they be up for sale about?

I think in the thread that Minuette mentioned, it was discussed that they should be released either soon after the latest Dollpa or sometime in October, since they do a lot of standard releases around that time

 

I'm so hype for the unitorsos, too. I'm leaning toward a standard DDS for Kinuyo, but I'd love to have the seamless look for another girl in the future!

Wow! I am excited for the single torsos. I am so going to buy one for each of my girls. Bye bye money....

Now we just need to wait for a DDdy unitorso to be made. Maybe in the far future my wish for Volks high heel feet will be granted, for high heeled sandals or open toe.

I don't think I'll need a single piece torso, but I'm excited for SS-bust available in different skin tones and for both DD and DDS

Pretty sure I'll be getting either the M bust or L bust version for my girl. I was thinking of getting the DDS version, but I'm starting to see her as more mature now.

 

High-heel feet would be a great optional part for DDs as well.

I love single torso. I'm into the torso posing as much so I won't miss it.

I doubt it. They've been advertising it too much I feel like for it to just be a limited release kinda thing. With Kirika Towa Alma specifically, they showed it with her swimsuit. So I kinda doubt it(Or hope not).

 

I've already seen them starting to pop up on Yahoo Japan for like $80

But just a head's up that since these parts are being released for the first time during the After Event (August 29th) that it will be a click-war for this first batch. Because this is the first time these are being released many people will be wanting to be among the first to own them. And like always even though the first initial run will sell out quickly they will eventually re-stock so don't fret if you can't get these parts during the After Event It's always a waiting game with Volks even with their items that are supposed to be standard

I'm honestly unsure on the single torso options. Yeah they look nice but I imagine it takes away some of the possibility which is one of my favorite things about these dolls. Idk. If I ever end up with a doll that has one I'll try it out a bit and see what I think but I'm still glad for those that really like them.

Got my new single torso in the mail just last Friday, ended up getting a DD3 M bust normal skin.

 

it appears that they used a slightly softer vinyl compared to he DDS' before... removing the internal frame for upgrading to coolcat parts didn't require any swearing at all

 

Overall, without deforming too badly, it allows for a small bit of movement bending forward/backwards, and a even smaller bit of twisting motion. Not bad considering how badly the old DDS ones deform like hell as soon as you try to bend it any way, not to mention not being able to hold pose at all.

The point of the single torso is mainly an optional part to make 2 piece clothing more enjoyable to view possibility is sacrificed in exchange
