It's Tamaki's underwear set and it's being sold like it's made of gold. ;A;

It's a nice set tho! How much is it getting sold for? I'd dare to guess it's over $100 since it's related to Tamaki. It seems that she's like Kanu in that anything with her picture on it goes for triple or quadruple what the retail price was.

So I ordered it. But apparently someone sniped it from me. Usually when an order is placed on Mandarake, the listing is tagged "Sold Out" right away. I do know it sometimes happens where two people can make the order at the same time or there may be a glitch in the system that doesn't mark it as sold out. I can't believe it slipped through my hands.

Aww man, that sucks so bad that you weren't able to get those. I hate it when I think I got something and it turns out I didn't. Hopefully one or the other will turn up again soon so you can grab them then!

The items are also generally for sale at their physical site. It could've sold in person before it was pulled for your order.

This has happened frequently to me. About half my Mandarake orders have been cancelled due to prior sale, whether by another internet buyer or by someone in-store I don't know.

having been in a bunch of the mandarake stores, it can be difficult to track items if they've sold or not. As far as I could tell when I bought things, I don't recall seeing them doing any sort of barcode scanning. It's quite possible the items in question were sold at the stores and the online inventory was never updated.

 

Also there is so much volume of traffic/sales at some stories it's pretty crazy. I wouldn't be surprised if another online order was packed before yours or even someone walked in and bought it before they could pack it.

 

I did notice though in grand chaos they had a whole section of at least 5 or 6 employees doing nothing but packing orders, and they had no fewer than one runner each to fetch items. It was a ridiculously busy store, on top of employees stocking and finding stuff for people, and people just pulling boxes off shelves themselves.
