Midori V3: An evolution in photos

It seems my android girl Midori continues to evolve and upgrade as she sees fit.

 

I got Midori as a present from Rei for Xmas of 2013. She had her faceup done by my friend Misskale and I think she turned out beautifully. Here are some photos of her from that Xmas:

Since Midori is an android, I wanted to show that somehow, without being obvious about it. So Misskale added some circuitry behind her ears for me. This way she looks like a normal girl most of the time but can show off her circuits whenever she feels the need.

In February of this year, Midori did some upgrades to her hardware and as a result got her circuitry redone by my local face up artist Eblktty. Ebl used what was there as the base and added some more detailing and color to it.

Midori and I were both very happy with how she looked now. Unfortunately, ever since Ebl redid the circuits for me, she kept saying that I needed to change Midori's face to better match the rest of my girls. I wasn't really sure what she meant by that and I kept putting her off by saying I was happy with how Midori looked and didn't want to change her. But after months of relentless hounding, begging and threats on my life ( ok not really but it felt like it ) I finally let Ebl have Midori to change her face up to what she envisioned she should look like to better fit my family.

 

I really had no input on this other than that I said I loved how her mouth looked so Ebl wasn't allowed to make any major changes to that. Everything else was up to her. A week after I handed Midori over, I got her back and was amazed at the change she underwent. Here's how she looks now.

I really liked how the eyebrows were made green to better match her wig. Midori doesn't swap out wigs so this one will always be her default. The green eyebrows really helped tie her look together nicely.

 

Basically, Ebl redid the eye makeup to be more refined and have a sharper, crisper look. Almost all of my other custom girls have been redone at one time or another by Littlebearries, Misskale or Ebl herself so to keep Midori with the same aesthetic the others had, she got this overhaul. I like how she turned out for sure, she seems even more expressive than before. Not to take ANYTHING away from the work Misskale did for me at all, I loved that faceup..... I just figured that it couldn't hurt to update Midori a little, that's all.

 

And along with the redone face, Ebl also upgraded the circuitry big time. Just check out the style they have now.... and we got the added bonus of earrings!

I'd never even thought about doing earrings as circuits before so once I saw this, I was like DUH! Why didn't *I* think of that? You can see them all the time and it doesn't detract from her look at all.

So there we go. Midori Version 3 is now completed. How many times will she update and/or change herself? Who knows really, computer technology changes daily so she may have to do something else eventually so she doesn't go obsolete on me.

 

I'd like to thank Ebl for bugging me to the point of giving in because I really do love her new look. I appreciate the work you did for Midori and me!

 

I'd also like to thank Misskale for her hard work too. Without her, the groundwork for the newer Midori wouldn't be there and she couldn't have progressed the way she did. So thank you very much!

Aww, thank you! That means a lot to me that you like her a lot now. And yeah, her being an android meant she needed some robotic like eyes and the ones she has really make that style for me.

I knew I should have read all that fine print! As for forged sigs, I'm not sure about what she has to say. Mishka sure didn't have any trouble with HER paperwork when she came to visit Manami...

Elisabeth and Sango = 4 years

Umi = 2 years

Nami = 1 year

 

And in September Rei and Yoko will have their 5 year anniversaries. I feel so old.....
