Dollfie Dreams that Volks should make

I doubt this anime is nearly well known enough to constitute a doll, but Haydée from Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo would be absolutely fantastic. The entire series is a fever dream of colours and designs, moving textures and patterns, and, as much hell as cloth dyed that many shades would wreck on her white skin, she's probably the only doll I, personally, would happily lay down up to $2,000 on.

But, ah, dreamers will be dreamers.

 

I second you so much! I wonder if a bisque doll wouldn't suit her character and gerenal figure/aura better than a DD, though? Still, she would certainly look amazing if the textures and patterns of her costume were being recreated in the same silky, "flowing" way that they are in the anime!（*´▽｀*）

 

This aside, I think I wouldn't be against a Fire Emblem doll! I would actually love to see a Cherche/Zelcher one one day, she's not the most appreciated character in the FE: Awakening game, but she would definitly look good as a DD!

I would also really like to see Camilla from FE: if in a doll form as well! The dragon scales on her corset might be a pain to make, though... I can't see them being made in anything else but leather.

I think Volks should release a DD of Neptune and Noire from Hyperdimension Neptunia. Even though Vert is my favorite, I think Neptune and Noire are loved a lot more.

I think Yuyuko Saigyouji from Touhou would make a really good DD, if they give her a Sasara-esque expression, since she's known to be sleepy, and that might translate well.

 

I'm also seconding a Luka Megurine doll as I think her calm expression would be really cute, and it would be amazing to see her default outfit in dollfie form.

 

Kill la Kill characters would be really interesting to see too - a Ryuuko Matoi wig would be so cool. Personally, I'd love to see a DD Satsuki Kiryuuin and I'd be interested in how they would paint her cute eyebrows, haha.

 

Someone mentioned Tales of... in an earlier page of the thread, and I think that Colette Brunel and Tear Grants would be really cute in Dollfie form. Although I think the best time for them to release either of those girls has passed since Tales of Symphonia Chronicles and the 3DS re-release of Tales of the Abyss has already happened, but it doesn't hurt to dream!

I'm pretty positive that Volks will make DD(s) from this game in near future as they have been releasing many DD from Type-moon and Fate series.

YES! They made Youmu, now they need Yuyuko! It would be nice if they made her have an expression like that.

More Touhou dolls in general would be good in my book. ^^ I'd love to see Yukari Yakumo in DD form, and Utsuho Reiuji especially.

 

I'd also love to see some Slayers DD - since they already have the license for the Charagumin kits and they sell some official merch as well, I'd think it would be pretty easy to do DDS Lina Inverse and DDDy Naga.

I wonder why Volks hasn't made a Neon Genesis Evangelion DD. I believe the anime is very popular among otaku boys in Japan so it will be a big hit.

 

I would die for any of the girls, Asuka, Rei or Misato (she's my favorite)

The 500 Type Eva trains run every day as the Kodama 730 & 741 trains between Hakata and Shin-Osaka. When the doors open at the platform, instead of the usual chime you hear the opening notes to the anime. It's a very pervasive experience Every Shinkansen station along the way is full of Eva souvenirs and goodies (like Eva-Shinkansen chopsticks).

 

It's not what Volks cares about, it's about what a licensor wants to make. If they do decide to make another DD, it'd be in time with another movie release.

Well, there were 3 movies not too long ago and they only released Mari after the second one.

I think the chances for third Rei are very small for now.

Maybe with the 4th Eva movie, who knows.

It would be a dream come true if they made an MDD of Shinobu Oshino! She's my favorite anime character. I would also love to see Mirai from Beyond the Boundary. Unfortunately, I don't think that anime is very popular in Japan. Another one I would totally jump on would be Anzu Futaba from Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls. So cute!

It'd be great for Volk to take the opportunity to produce Cardcaptor Sakura girls (Sakura and Tomoyo perhaps) as Clamp is currently celebrating Cardcaptor Sakura 25th anniversary. Everyone is kinda hyped about the new manga and recent merchandise releases.

I'd love to have a DD Sakura, she'd probably need to be a MDD, or a DDS if going for the new series.

 

My Miku wants a little sister, so I was thinking about who'd make a great MDD, and it came to me who I'd really, really want, but not sure why, except she's kawaii. That'd be Fear Kubrick.

First edition Sakura is so beautiful, I can't wait to see how volks would redo her. Derp eyes aside I adored what they did with Rin, and I would love a Rider so much! I'm just worried about volks making her clothes a nightmare... And that wig is going to be Miku level disastrous if not worse. Definitely going to need a 3rd party replacement for that. I still want them to make her though. They'll capture her likeness perfectly.

Now that Rin & Len became a reality I really wish they add Luka to the family as well.

More unlikely but Kaito and Meiko would be lovely, too ><

But at least I'm happy that we have been getting more Vocaloids after Miku ^^ (I had lost hope it would happen, to be honest, haha)
