baldylox Posted August 16, 2015 Normally, the environment YOU stay in is fine for a DD too. But you said you're keeping yours in her box and inside of plastic..... that's not good. She needs to be out of the box and especially the plastic so the heat and humidity won't build up inside there and affect her face up. If you can't put her out in a room somewhere she can get some air flow around her, at least take her out of the plastic while she stays in her box. If it's really humid where you are, I'd also either dress her in minimal clothing while she's in her box ( like bra and panties or a light shirt and undies ) or no clothing at all. That way she doesn't have a chance to get any stains on her due to colors in the clothes. Keeping her inside two boxes wrapped in plastic is NOT a good idea no matter what the temp is inside your home so I'd get her out of that setup immediately. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

silverredgreen Posted August 18, 2015 what are the best way to keep your dolls safe when you have to keep them stored safely when you cant have them out in the open
xhuxhurocket Posted August 21, 2015 Keep them in a dark room or in a box. I'll wrap my girls in a light cotton cloth and I have some containers of Damp-rid (it pulls moisture out of the air) in the closet where I keep dolls stored. Where I live it's very, very humid (80% or more almost every day in the hot summer months) and I worry about moisture more than anything else. Keeping them wrapped in plastic won't allow air to circulate around them and moisture can build up inside the plastic bags or wrap. Something breathable like an old cotton t shirt works best for me.
