DD3 White Skin body?

Hey all! I tried searching to see if this post already exists, but let me know if I overlooked one.

I'm currently bidding on a custom DDH-06 head in White and want to put her on a DD3 body. My problem is that Volks' website is only showing the Normal and Semi-White options. Has a White base body yet to be released or is it just sold out?

You can only buy new DD3/DDS white skin parts, and assemble a body that way. Volks does not currently sell the complete white skin body's, and probably never will. You may find a DD3/DDS from a split of a newer release doll, or an older DD2 body in white. They are harder to find than the normal or semi white body’s. I would suggest going with DD3 or DDS due to the ease of getting replacement parts

Thank you so much! I did notice the seperate parts while skimming the website, but my concern is putting a DD together from scratch. Is it a complicated process? I'm a total klutz with small objects.

No problem it's easy, we also have some guides on this site. I would get parts from Japan, the exchange rate is great right now.

I'll have a dig around for those guides. Volks International is my only option since CAD to Yen is a lot cheaper than CAD to USD. Does Volks restock supplies pretty randomly? Their white thigh parts are sold out haha.

You have to check all the time, the restocks are definitely random. It can be hard to find all the parts in stock at the same time. If you are patient you could probably get all the parts in 2 orders

Thank you! I wound out being outbid and decided to get a Normal skin 06 head by Ronronshuka (their work is AMAZING! They listed another head after that I fell in love with but couldn't afford :'c).

At least Normal-skin bodies come in one piece haha.
