I believe that no one can say one thing is better than another as a factual statement, because it's about individual taste. However, everyone is entitled to their own opinion on what they consider "the best". Does that clarify my comment for you? I mean, I think that's basically what you're saying above, isn't it?

I just had two questions.

First one, I was asking if you meant I was being dismissive when you said that you try to not be so dismissive (then I gave reasons why I wasn't, in my opinion, after just in case you did mean I was being dismissive).

Then the second is the one that you just answered now. Just wanted to know what you meant by it, whether you were meaning it as no one can argue that one brand is over another as a factual statement or if you were saying that I can't argue it at all meaning that I can't have an opinion on which I think is best. That's all. Just wanted some clarification on it. That's why I said if you meant it as the factual statement bit then I agreed in the first part of my response.

Those were my questions. I hope that clears up any confusion.

I have some fun plans for Trinity and Serenity that I can hopefully execute if I ever get them. I'd want them to resemble Devola and Popola from the Nier franchise. Since they're very similar, but just different enough I feel like it could work.

 

I wasn't a huge fan of Smart Doll at first, but I've kept my eye on them. These new girls have so much more dimension, it's phenomenal to see how far Danny and Smart Dolls have come in quite a short amount of time.It's a long wishlist, and I know they'll probably be limited on that but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I want the Smart doll Backpack. Any color.

Is it fine to put it in the wish list?

I am scare that it could be pretty expensive as all Danny staff.

The backpack looks so promising!

But when it comes to the price, I think you need to compare it to other multi-purpose backpacks like...hm, I don't what brands you have where you live, but think high quality trekking bags etc. They're often in the region $300 or more. Even a the simple Fjällräven Kånken 17", which fits 1-2 Smart Dolls, is $120 already.

Just be careful that the non-Smart Doll back pack's inner surface doesn't cause stains.

Best suggestion is to always wrap any (resin, vinyl etc.) doll in some cloth/protective fabric before putting them in any carrier, even specifically made doll bags.

I wish someone made white sock thin 'sleeping bags' you can just slip dolls into to protect them from staining against bags.

Serenity is growing on me. The eyes are interesting. They look much smaller than the other Smart Dolls. That makes me wonder if they could take smaller eyes as well.

 

I still want Melody and/or Starlight. I just can't make up my mind between milk or tea color. Of course, the smartest idea would be to plan for three. One in each color!

That was my original idea too.

Now I have four.

And considering getting a fifth one.

So, good luck with that.

I am hoping to get Serenity with twilight eyes and a smooth large bust this year, after that Symphony or a tea colour girl if she is no longer available and maybe a boy but that's a long way off

 

I would also love a backpack but that depends on the price

and the elf ears and curly wig

I'm so overwhelmed by the selection that I think I'll just wait for the Cortex. Or Journey. Maybe.

Danny has announced he's working on a new face sculpt for a cocoa male. It's supposed to be more ethnic. If he does, I'm sunk. I might as well just start a direct deposit into his account.
