Limited re-release DD Hatsune Miku + Senbonzakura outfit

Wow, lots of Mikus lol. Too bad I'm not really a big Miku fan. But it's great for people that are!

I have a soft spot for Miku's default and I have a very special person in my life who happens to love Miku who's birthday is coming up...hmmm

I do wish that Snow Miku would open up for PO again though. Wonder if a Sakura Miku is in the works. :0

Sakura Miku MIGHT kill me. Besides the 2013 snow version, she's by far my favorite and I'd have to cave!

Eh, the Senbonzakura set is dirt cheap on Jungle so I'll grab it there if I decide to get it. I'll just keep waiting for the pre-order of the Mikuzukin set that we were promised.

The world is a lonely place unless you're a Miku fan. XD;;; But I suppose Miku is so popular that she brings in a lot of money, so they need to take advantage of that for as long as they can, ahah. :'3 I just wish that someday I could have Luka, IA and See-U as DDs... especially See-U would be super cute to see in doll form. ;u; ♥

 

I do like the Senbonzakura outfit a lot~ ^^ Just not sure if I like it enough to buy it... the geta are so awesome, though! ♥

I too just want to see the rerelease of the Mikuzukin; Senbonzakura and Do Re Mi Fa Rondo outfits never really did it for me.

 

Sakura Miku? Eh, could be cute, but I'd rather see an Append. :/

Any Miku is a good Miku for me. But I hope they will make a harvest moon version of her.

I'm wondering if there will be a way to get more Miku hand sets out of this. I have a great need for them and by that I mean that look on my Miku's face makes me want to sacrifice my wallet. Also Mikuzukin set.

Hm, I wonder if they'll be willing to do layaways for the fullset... Probably not since as stated she's in limited quantities and last time they did a re-release during the Snow Miku preorders #2 for Anime Expo, Regular Miku didn't have a layaway option as far as I could see on the website. :/

Volks is not like other doll companies. The idea "layaway" is pretty foreign to them. They did once do a deposit system (for the USA branch only) and that has since been revoked. It didn't stop cancellations and probably, not too surprisingly, was a lot more annoying to manage haha.

 

The closest you get is pre-order, and like all limited chance offerings, if you fail to pay they will add you to a blacklist.

 

So pretty much pay in full or get out is how they function lol.

Just also noting the difference with the deposit being allowed was that those were not dolls already made, while this is already in stock dolls it sounds like. Big pre-orders mean lots of cancels. Sucks that Volks is stuck getting rid of so much excess stock. :/

lol Yeah, it probably was more of a hassle. Although I didn't know they once did a deposit system, that's interesting to know.

 

And it does sound like they're doing just that. It is a shame they have that many Mikus to try to get out, but it does happen. And that is true, Volks does things I've never thought or heard of other companies doing, but if it works, then it works which at the moment it does.

So Volks USA doesn't require a deposit when preordering?

I'm asking because I'd made a post on myfigurecollection stating I wanted to take someone's Snow Miku preorder. Someone messaged me earlier today asking for $100 for the deposit and $600 for when Miku ships.

I had to double check that, but I guess Snow Miku did have a deposit. But I think they did a lot bigger deposits before. (at least I feel like the Sabers did) I didn't opt to do via usa for her when I pre-ordered her so I forgot all about it, honestly I simply don't think I ever knew.

 

It isn't $100 though, was $50.

Volks is a very event themed company. So as far as I can tell everything they do is related to that core fact. I like it a lot in the way that I think it is a very fair way to distribute their LE dolls, but I fear the pre-order stuff is sure causin' them a lot of problems. Excess stock is never a fun thing to deal with.

I'm glad they're doing a lottery for the Miku re release . I have no luck in online cart wars
