finnleo Posted August 22, 2015 This time its a bit of a combination of two ideas coming together in different ways. first of all, been watching gakkou gurashi this current anime season, and there was a rather appealing illustration by the original mangaka(?) of the series, that I wanted to copy with a doll. Then there was my big plan-a that didnt turn out as I had wanted, but as result I now had seven self made LED-strips that produced a very narrow light beam.. so tried putting these two into use and went from there. The only problem with these LED's were that they are a extremely cold light, that the camera had difficulties coping with.. rise039 So naturally going monochrome was the solution for the chilly outcome: rise040 rise041 rise042 rise043 rise044 Then I remembered that I had a warming filter stashed somewhere, and gave that a try.. results were interesting as the blue in the eye's popped quite vividly. rise045 rise046 rise047 rise048 rise053 rise052 rise051 rise050 rise049 Up to here I had managed with zero-photoshopping, but after running out of battery, the next day one's had to be a bit level-edited. rise057 rise058 rise059 rise056 rise055 rise054 Thanks for looking... Despite I am quite pleased with the shots, I doubt I'll be making more of this kind in the nearest of futures, because the stick of light is a bit bleepbersome to use, and it needs a bit more tuning up to be a bit better in actual use, and execution.
