Inner frame colour?

I looked around a bit but couldn't find a topic about this... sorry if I missed it. .__.;

 

But I've been wondering about something: do all of the skin colours have their own colour for the inner frame? Mainly I'm interested in knowing if White skin inner frame is lighter in colour compared to Semi-White or if they're a good match...

 

I was thinking that if WS and SW inner frames don't have a noticeable difference, then I could purchase some of those Miku hands that include the inner frame as spare parts, as it would be less expensive than buying a set of new arms with the inner frame.

 

So, hopefully someone has an answer for me, and comparison photos would be awesome to see. :3 Thank you in advance! ♥

They do all have their own colours yeah, white frame is different to SW and NS. The inner frame is never seen though, so you can use any.

The wrist joint DOES show. :/ (The inner part of the hand is cast directly with part of the wrist joint.) So sadly, for this particular purpose, this isn't really the most viable solution. However, the inner frames of the hip and chest sections are completely hidden, so for the chest frame in particular people do sometimes get the "wrong" color just to get their girls complete rather than wait eons for a restock.

Okay, thank you both. ^^ And yeah, I was mainly thinking about the inner frame part for the hands, though, because as Poofiemus said the wrist ball does show... it's not a problem with long sleeves, but I do have my girl in sleeveless tops and dresses sometimes.

I'm sure there was a post somewhere, but the biggest difference is that WS is like a yellow-white, and SWS is a pink-white. I find Miku to look surprisingly white sometimes, but WS is a different colour altogether.

foo, I've seen that photo but unfortunately it isn't exactly what I'm looking for. I'd like to see the White and Semi-White inner frames exposed and next to each other, if at all possible.

 

 

I have an older White skin body that I bought from Mandarake, and then a new head and hand parts bought directly from Volks earlier this year. The older body is much yellower in comparison. I also have a couple of Semi-White hands that I bought directly from Volks this year.

 

In person the Semi-White is pinker and darker when I compare it to White skin, but in photos the difference is not as drastic. And the White skin inner frame parts have a bit of a pink tint to them, so that is why I'd be curious to see the colour of Semi-White inner frame parts, in order to see exactly how much darker and pinker those are in comparison.

 

So, if anyone could be so kind to take a photo of just the inner frames next to each other, I'd be very grateful!

Well, I now have a semi-white body so I got to see the difference in person. I'll post a photo here for future reference, in case it might be useful to someone else. ^^

 

The semi-white inner frame is pinker than the white frame, which is more creamy. They are about the same darkness, though. The difference is more obvious in dim light and artificial light, I noticed... but in bright natural light, especially at the wrist there doesn't seem to be a glaringly obvious difference between the two.

 

So I think that as a temporary fix, you could use semi-white inner frame parts (at least for the wrists) without it being too obvious. :3
