Mimiyo3 Posted August 27, 2015 My girl Miku somehow (Idk how considering she wasn't wearing sleeves) got a stain on her elbow joint. Literally on the joint. Can that be removed in the same fashion as a stain anywhere else on her could and if not how can it be removed if it can? Present! Jezrah Posted August 28, 2015 Did you try Maguc Eraser? That would be my first instinct.
Mimiyo3 Posted August 28, 2015 Did you try Maguc Eraser? That would be my first instinct. Yep. I try that on everything first on the off chance it's enough. Whatever happened, it's set enough that that doesn't work. Present! K-2 Posted August 29, 2015 Be careful what chemical cleaners/stain removers you use on the hard plastic skeleton. Some of them, like Remove-Zit can meld those parts.

I'd be using the stain removal creme from volks. Is that stuff okay? Present! K-2 Posted August 30, 2015 I'd be using the stain removal creme from volks. Is that stuff okay? I don't know about the Volks cream. I use Remove-Zit for my vinyl stain removing needs for years and am very happy with its performance. There is a separate thread on the board discussing the Volks cream. I don't have the link, but I think it's in the Care and Repair area. In any case test the product before using it on the exposed joint. If you don't have any spare DD skeleton parts, separate your girl at the waist to expose some of her internals and put a small dab on a noncritical area. Leave it on for 24 hours then wipe it off. If the plastic hasn't distorted, discolored, or otherwise hasn't changed, you probably good to go on the exposed joint area. But still keep an eye on it.
