AmoraSeth Posted September 1, 2015 For years I have admired Dollfie Dreams but always stuck to my resin boys. But as of today I am the proud owner of my first DD! Gosh, I have been contemplating getting a DD for years, but I never came across a mold that really got to me (until I saw Melty and Mariko) and I was always fearful of staining. I never thought I would get my hands on a Melty so I was determined to enter the lottery for Mariko - expect that I was traveling that whole time and missed out. I was so bummed at myself! but then, a good friend of mine (I love you!!) let me know if someone selling a Melty (V2) head and I was able to snag her! Now I feel like I did when I first got into the doll hobbie - totally clueless! This will be a learning experience for me. I still need to get her a body, but that will happen and I am settled on the sister body. I am really looking forward to this new facet of this hobby Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Your love for that mold continued to grow every time you saw my Maki in person And don't worry about forgetting to enter for Mariko~ It happens and since she's a Volks character she'll definitely get another release in the future. And of course I'll always keep an eye out for a good deal for ya At least you can play with mine whenever she arrives home. For now though we'll focus on your first! I say that, but after pre-ordering my first I totally ended up getting a second girl (Momoko) who became my first instead lol~ But anyways we are totally going to sit down and have a nice DD talk to get you up to speed Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

And then you got Melty and it was game over for me!! i cannot thank you enough for looking out for me and letting me know about Melty on the market out there! It seems the last two times she came around I just did not have the funds. And I think it was totally meant to be that Melty was going to be my first DD. I was super bummed when I realized I missed out on the Volks release of Mariko. Here I am lamenting to you and two days later you hook me up with the Melty sale!!! I say this will be my only DD, but I said the same about my resin family and I am 20+ deeo there...so, I guess I can say Mariko will be my next aim and I will just need to wait for another re-release. It's always really hard to venture into something new when you're already so comfortable with what you currently collect.
