Don't lose your head!

So I was waiting until I got a part of it to say anything, but I'm impatient and too excited to wait any longer! Anyhow, I've wanted to do this for a while but never really got the chance but now that things are falling into place, I'm going to put it into action. The idea? A custom of Mami Tomoe from Puella Magi Madoka Magica! And yes, the title is a horrible pun on that one scene...

 

 

And here are my hopeful plans:

 

Head: DDH-09

Body: DDDy (Shapely bust?)

Hair: Leeke Goldenrod W118_L

Eyes: WDS 22mm Type A Lemon eyes (Done)

Outfit: Either commission or ooak, depending on cirbleepstances and sewing skills.

Faceup: Darjeeling, probably.

 

This will be a really slow project, but that's alright, it teaches me to be more patient which I need more lessons in. I will try to update when I progress on it or respond to comments/ideas/suggestions.

I believe the most similar head would be the 01 but it's really small on a dddy body.

About the wig, cauldroness is making a group order from leeke (that carries some 200+ wig styles in 15+ colors).

True, the 01 would be a better fit but the 07 is mostly out of preference and curiosity, since I have yet to see anybody use that one for a Mami and believe it might work. And unfortunately, it'll take me a while to gain the money for the wig, although thank you for the heads up!

 

And I just looked around leeke and found this one wig. For the wig color it would probably be Goldenrod since it's closest to her bright blonde hair, and it is super close to the official art in promo images and if I really want to get the bangs exactly like them, I could just use a little bit of wig gel.

So I just got the pair of eyes in the mail and they're absolutely wonderful! Now onto saving for the head.

 

Decided to change the head from an 07 to an 09 since at the time of making plans I completely spaced on that sculpt and after looking at it, I think it'd be better suited for Mami. Also decided to go with the wig I linked earlier in the response to Phara. ^^
