Kagamine Rin & Len & New Miku outfits!*pic updated*

TT 3 TT they're so darn cute! Thank you so much for the pictures @torino it's great to see them from different angles! I really hope I can bring Len home! ; n ;

 

But... I really don't like how... 'solid' their wigs look. Like I get they're heavily styled, but to me Rin's just looks like solid glue. Also it's kinda bad that the ribbon on Len's collar is fraying :/ makes me feel wary of their Quality Control.

Thanks for the pics, Torino! Rin is really adorable. I like the eyes Volks made for them both, too.

Oh wow. Now that I'm looking at it the sculpts look pretty different from each other and Miku too, we would have never seen that from their promotional images. Len's mouth is so cute!! They're both just adorable! I hate to say it, but I might be one of the "going to customize it" people. There's so much opportunity with him I don't know how I couldn't. We'll see. Definitely not impressed with the outfits, but Volks always has a way with stealing my heart as son as I see something in person.

I don't think the collar is 'fraying', it looks more like they used some kind of lacey material for the yellow stripes on it. Which is kind of an odd choice to me, but I dont think it looks off. (I'm more wondering why Len's collar is defying gravity, I only just noticed lol)EDIT= Unless you mean the little bit near where its going down to his necktie (visible in the closeup pic of him on the last page), cos yeah, that's kinda disappointing. I wonder if it's only the Fu kuoka Len that's like that; I havent seen closeup pics of the display ones in the other stores yet.

As for their hair, I thought it would be kind of unavoidable to get them to look ''accurate''. I still think Rin's default hair is really cute, but I want to get her some other short blond wigs too.

 

Owner pics will be probably be on the J-twittersphere this weekend, I really cant wait to see them! I'll still have to wait an extra week for my Rin though as my friend is bringing her to me when she visits then, and I'll probably do an unboxing video while trying not to cry.

Sign, now I do want Rin. But I'll still pass on her for now, money's tight. I just got the tag renewal notice for my truck,and it's more than the cost of a doll (Almost enough for 2!!).

 

But if anyone ever wants to sell her shorts, let me know, they are cute with the belt and loop. Miku could wear them with a nice tee and it'd be cute.

An unboxing video would be a total must if you feel up to it.

 

And Len's collar... Either someone wasn't paying attention or he did it because he thought it made him look more cool and manly. That's one thing with my Len I already know is that he can easily act girly (wiggling his hips for his 'catwalk' dancing in his room) but just as easily acts like a ruff & tumble boy. Kinda what you'd end up with if you crossed Tama & Dolly. Somehow I get the feeling that Rin is responcible... Maybe she forced him to dress up as a girl too much as a kid, made him learn to dance more like her, and other things that older sisters like to inflict on their younger siblings.

 

The only bad thing about these pics is it's making me fall even harder for Rin than I did when I first fell in love with her. Her headsculpt and not Miku's is what I see when I think of her, but I'd seriously doubt anyone would want to do a head & eye swap between the two. I'd think about entering for her as well but it would just add too much stress. As much as I love Rin, I'd be devistated to not get Len. So many hard choices...

Volks sure put a lot of time and effort into styling the wigs! The crimps near the crown and the feathering in the back on Rin's, and the deliberate wispy bits all over Len's.

 

Len doesn't look very cheerful in his pics! Maybe he's mad because Rin made him wear nail polish.

God the more I see of them the more I struggle to control my excitement... I really hope I don't have to wage financial war on yja for them. but I'm prepared to if I must. Gosh with Snow Miku coming in to me next month plus these two the next couple months are very vocaloid themed over here. Now I just nee to get off my lazy butt and set up more space for my dolls to invade. They're absolutely cramped where they are now and that's no good.

Seeing more photos is making me both excited and nervous. I MUST have them, though if I have to go aftermarket I might have to look into selling some stuff I don't really want, but they're so perfect and I must have my precious.

Maybe he's just upset that he has a girly manicure insted of blunt ended nails like guys normally have. Because of that I've wondered if Rin & Len had a full hand release like Miku if I'd need to get two sets.

 

The joys of being OCD and having twin DD. Ringo and Rainie are frustrating in their own ways because they are exact opposites. No sharing clothes between them. At least Len's more flexable when it comes to clothing.

He looks more sad than upset ...but that's nothing a face up can't fix! (I just don't like sad faces >_<). I don't mind nail polish on guys but like Sister Kyoya mentioned, the problem is that his nails/manicure look girly

 

No sharing clothes is frustrating. None of my 4 DD boys share clothes but I feel like Len will be easier as I have some sort of idea of what I will do with him then again, I have no more money to spend on his wardrobe so the boys have to share with him. I will probably do a mix with Sky's clothes and Crash's clothes.

 

Rin is so cute, like almost everyone else, I also want to enter for her but I already gave all my entries to Len and I'm not ready for a DD girl yet so I will enjoy her from afar. I think Torino will be the first one to share pictures or videos and I will be eagerly waiting for those.

Rin and Len are so adorable! I feel like if Len's fingernails weren't as pointed, the hands would look more masculine.

A new entry on the DD blog, with a couple nice pics,

 

 

They're showing off the displays at the different Volks stores in the recent blog posts and I think its cool that they have them in a different pose for each. It also makes me more glad that the Fu kuoka one had them in the open like that; a lot of them in that post are behind glass.

 

It's cool to see all the different photos though since you get new angles from each of the poses. I personally dont think Len looks that 'sad', he does just a little from certain angles but I think he looks like his smiling from other angles and from straight ahead. Rin's smile is just so big/defined it shows up in all angles.

I noticed Len's collar looks better in the pic foo just posted too.

 

The newest post has them compared to Miku. I...can't believe I never noticed they haven't shown that yet!

It's easier to see the sculpt differences when they're side by side like that...although its weird how much Len resembles Miku here, while Rin doesn't really look like Miku at all.

What surprises me about those pics with all 3 is how bored Len & Miku look. If we hadn't had Raven's Miku around for so long (or even just the Snow Miku heads) I wouldn't have noticed it. Miku's face is possable of LOADS more expression than that. I have not seen Miku that bland in a long time. Rin however looks like she's having a grand time, even if her pose looks more than a little painful.

What is it with official Volks photos never being as good as owner photos, huh

Seeing them all 3 side by side, it's clear that Rin and Len are different sculpts (unless those are some good face up skills that even the structure of the face looks different!)

 

I love the fact that it's confirmed by official photos that Len and Miku look similar

Soooo cuuute! Seeing them with a Miku makes me even more excited to have Rin and Len next to My Mikus. My snow Miku will be in when I get those two for sure!

Those pics of the twins next to Miku are killing me. I'm definitely adding Len to my wishlist.
