Kagamine Rin & Len & New Miku outfits!*pic updated*

I entered for Rin but I think I want Anastasia more... Because I can't afford both I am hoping I don't win Rin but win Anastasia eventually.

Ok, now that I think about it my love for it is mainly because of how cute it looks in Mirai DX.

LOL I'm like a horse with blinders on and somehow didnt even see Deep Sea Girl cos I wanted to know what the new Rin/Len costumes would be that badly.

It's admittedly not the most exciting outfit when contrasted to the past Miku outfits but it could look pretty classy on a DD and I'm curious to see how it looks. Hopefully it should be much cheaper since its more simple/doesnt have many components?

Oh god I'm gonna need all of these outfits. My wallet is doomed to 1000 deaths from this hobby. lol

Whelp, my wallet is exploding. I MUST have the Akuno outfits, as my wedding dress was a Akuno cosplay. I do plan on ordering every twin outfit Volks releases, heavenshelpme. Hopefully they're all standard preorder and not lottery/clickwar.

So do we even know how the Rin & Len Senbonzakura outfits will be released? Please excuse me if I'm being a dunce, I'm too tired to dig back into the thread to see if it's been mentioned or not. I still think both of the girl oufits in this set are meh, but Len... hurrr... It's so blah but so adorable at the same time. How confusing! Yet another entry on my 'need it' list. I have no idea when he would use it or why, but he needs it. I can see Darla saluting him every time he walks by when he wears it. *sigh* More DD misunderstandings, no matter what anyone would tell her after that she would still treat him like a soldier... Somewhere in Ralph's brain he still thinks Tama is a cat person.

 

Len, you are going to be one spoiled bugger. It's bad enough when it's just me, but then add Prince Tama into the mix and there is no way I could tell the both of them no.

I believe when they were first announced it said 'autumn' so it will be within the next 3 months. Most likely after the lottery results are out, so late october/early november is my guesstimate. They'll almost definitely be clickwar, though. Havent all Miku's outfits been clickwar?

Volks news 70 is out on monday though, there might be new info then.

So I entered for Len but things have come up so I can't pay for him if I win. If that does happen I'd be happy to pass off my entry to someone else just for total cost plus shipping. I don't have feedback on here but I have a lot on DoA.

Rin & Len just keep getting cuter every time that I see more photos of them. ;__; ♥ The Senbonzakura outfits are soooo lovely (although judging by the photos of the display at Magical Mirai, especially Rin's outfit is going to need a lot of ironing to keep it neat, the sleeves were so wrinkly, ugh) I definitely want them! I hope that they'll get re-releases at some point like Miku's outfits have, because I suck at clickwars and surely there will be way too much competition for them for the first release. """oTL

Ditto here. Just count yourself lucky that you don't have someone playing Project Diva for an extended amount of time today. I'm glad he's happy but it isn't helping any reducing the stress and panic. If I just knew if the DDS boy body would be standard at some point I'd be fine and not have to worry about it, but Volks hasn't said anything either way. Other than that and I can make eveything for my version of Len. After all this time I've even been able to mentally draft how to make his Keytar. I just know how hard I was heartboken after the last lottery I was in that I'm afraid of having to go through that all over again.

I'm so worried that len may be the first/last boy type ever released! . From the last email they said they haven't made their mind yet (waiting to see everyone's response first)

 

I sent another one asking if this was the first/last boy type or they will be releasing more boy types in the future. it's been a week and I still haven't heard anything. I really hope they do release more boy types....

Wolf- Eevery time I've seen DD sized headphones listed on websites they are always sold out. It's okay though because I've been thinking of how to DIY them and if that still doesn't satisfy me I may just cast some from resin.

 

Pscindy- I was talking with my husband last night and we could't think of a body type that Volks made that was only on one DD (I don't calculate 'specialty' boobs like one of the older girls had I think.) Someone can correct me if I'm wrong and I'm sure they will, but I'm at least mildly hopeful about the DDS boy if you also add in that the Japanese preorders were the 'test' and they got so many that they had to break the production into two batches. It's just frustrating not knowing.

Male resins seem to be popular with male and female bjd enthusiasts on DOA. I've even seen some pretty kick ass looking girl dolls made with male heads too. Not sure if that will translate into enthusiasm in the DD market, but it sounds like with Len they got a lot of orders. That seems to me like a lot of enthusiasm.

Stupid Google translate, why you make no sense?? Len is surely adorable but I still think he looks so serious. Like a 3 year older and highly angsty version of him after Project Diva. He looks like he should be sulking in his room listening to too much Nirvana. He really does make a great boy but I'm still struggling to see him as Len. It's just not how I see him. What I'm used to is

is diferent but interesting but where's Rin??) He just seems so high energy and bright faced to me, everything the Volks sculpt just isn't. Seeing Len in the concerts that Raven used to watch nearly every night for a while I think is what got me started on the Vocaloids because I surely hated Miku at that point. If you have hearing as highly sensitive as mine you would understand that her screamy and badly tuned songs feel like needles stabbing into my eardrums. I still remember the moment when I first noticed that there was a boy Vocaloid and one of the major things that drew me in is seeing his 'happy' face and just the energy he has. I've been trying and trying to see that in the Volks Len and it just isn't there.

 

I still think he would be fun to try and do a 'Dark Hunny' with him. Problem is Tama might get mad at me because he would have the same trouble with him as I do Volks Len. That's okay though since I have a boy character I need and has an ever growing personality that I hadn't found a sculpt for yet that it would work just fine for.

I was just seeing volks jp twitter and it says they will be releasing rin and len Senbonzakura dress sets. They talk about how they re-painted their face to fit their outfits better. Does this mean they will sell len again?
