Oni-chan: Have you checked your Volks account? I know sometimes before that made a difference to a few people, finding they had a payment link before the email. Also check your spam folder.

Yeah, ive been checking all my volks accounts and all of them have the black numbers of failure :p

I won both Len and Rin. Probably the first and last time I'll ever actually win a Volks Int'l lottery

No wins here. Really wanted Rin. Such a let down.

No wins, so are the emails going to be sent out for 4 more days, or is it just going to be calls?

I have no idea. I was a bit surprised there were so many wins here at once cos i expected them to be a bit more spread out if they made the period that many days. So I guess we'll just have to wait and see if anyone else here gets an email after today.

 

Looking at the fine print on the official page it says its your nominated store that calls you, not the Volks head office, which does lend some credibility to my vague theory about a set amount for each store but that's impossible to prove.

On twitter I heard at least one person has been called (they were the only person who specified it was a call and not an email, anyway, others were just saying they won) which worries me a bit, but i'm holding onto hope due to it only being the first day in the time period they gave and the fact that Fu kuoka is usually always last to do anything.

Firstly congrats to all winners. The number of winning lotteries here alone surprises me. It's so unreal. I bet they've mass produced both Rin and Len that they expect there'd be a lot of demand for them (duh). There will be loads of unpaid orders (and banned accounts) considering all the back up entries submitted. Well this is not very pleasant indeed... I WON Len myself!

Absolutely. It's quite- well no, it's VERY sad I wouldn't be able to pay for him. Well at least not now. But I'm happy and excited to think that they'll be picspam of Len soon. I can't wait to see him in various wigs and possibly different faceups.

I won Rin and Len! I'm so relieved I won Len with my entry, it's so much simpler this way.

 

I'm thrilled the win rates are so high! We were all so worried and stressed... I hope the people who lost can find an extra off of someone else.

I've never seen the win rate so high! I also entered as a back up for a friend we both won...both!

That's definitely what I was thinking. I mean this couldn't have happened in the past right? Long before I became a member, I've lurked on this forums long enough that I've witness countless sadness and grief that people didn't win the lottery. So this is a bit surprising for me.

Quite a few people now on J-twitter have said they got calls from Volks. Tried to see if there was a pattern to their locations but they were all from all over the place (although no one from Fu kuoka). Someone in Sapporo said they were in the store today and 'the staff were on the phones the whole time'.

Really makes me wonder why there are so many days when so many people have found out already, and if that means even more people are set to get results over the next couple days or if its just for them to attempt to call people again (and if they cant contact them in that time period, tough luck for them).

edit= they may have just boosted the production due to the sheer number of entries. There's still a lot of people that havent won yet in both lottery pools judging from reactions.

Oh my goodness. I can't believe there are so many of us who won. I entered for Len thinking that with my usual luck I wouldn't win and like I told SK I would have gladly given her my Len if I won and she didn't but I am so happy she won. Now my problem is having to convince my husband that I need this boy in my household. As some of you might have noticed, I've been on DD hiatus for quite a while and Len would represent me coming back to the hobby (even though I still really need to let a few of the girls go). I'm still in shock.

 

I don't know what Volks did but I'm still pretty thrilled a lot of us won. Here's hoping more good news in the next couple of days for those who are waiting.

No lol definitely not ...you were more likely to have been abducted by Aliens, or won the actual lottery.

I thought there would be a good number of winners, but not THIS many. This is nuts. Even when we had better chances because we had Volks USA to give us 2 entries I've never seen this many winners.

I know someone who had 6 entries and lost them all on a previous lottery, and that wasn't uncommon.

 

I don't see why they would make more for this particular lottery they've never done that before.

On the int. site it says results come out Sept 28, it doesn't give a range of days (unless there's something I didn't see?). Payment is due on Oct 3 so they can't dilly dally with letting people know.
