Probably they won't charge until they are about to ship them. Since they are running behind on orders lately... who knows? Maybe in a week or two.

So I didn't notice anything too loose it looks like his spine might be the same though, but it's not too big of a deal. and I can't add any files, they're all too big :/

Thanks for your review of Len littlebirdzoom! I am actually mostly in the resin doll hobby too, these DD Vocaloids have stolen my heart though. I am very picky on how doll bodies hold together and pose, so if mine Len is loose then I might have to do something about it. That is something I disliked with my Snow Miku compared with SmartDoll Mirai. Snow Miku feels very loose to me, like her arms would fall off just by carrying her around. . . If Len is looser than her I will be upset.

 

(Of topic comment littlebirdzoom: I see you have a DHS Dragon! I love that little guy. Me and my mother got the love birds just before they released the Dragon. . . and then I got Snow Miku. . . and then Len so I have not been able to get him yet. Does he pose as well as he looks?)

I plan to make an unboxing vid but that's not till the end of this month and I'm sure a bunch of other people are as well once the lottery dolls are out. Wouldn't feel right to do Rin and not Len though. I think I'll be getting the first of the lottery dolls here though since I just gotta go to the store with my friend instead of waiting for shipping.

But if any of the 3 (I think?) new Len owners here wanna make a video review so there can be one quicker and without my annoying voice in it please do! (also if anyone wants to do it with one of the lottery dolls feel free as well, it's not a contest and the more opinions the better really)

Ahhh I did manage to get my Rin in the end!!

I'm extremely happy! I already payed for her so I guess what it's left is to wait! Perhaps she will arrive a bit late due to secondary reasons but that's alright, seeing all the photos and reviews of her and Len make so eager to get her

 

Yet, I've been wondering something - For what I've seen for lottery DDs there doesn't tend to be that many winners but with Rin & Len there were a lot, even extras! A lot of them, even the extras found a nice home and I glad about that, so do you think there will be a click-war? There wasn't a notice yet or anything. I don't know, I don't feel there were so many spare dolls, but it may be me. Perhaps they'll sell them at an event? I'm really curious >_<

I just cannot warp my head as for why they weren't normal pre-orders, sorry - considering the previous Mikus DDs, the large amount of orders at Dolpa Nagoya that they had to do it in two batches and the big number of winners. Were they planned for pre-order really? Well, I guess I cannot understand how Volks thinks I still find it somewhat weird and unfair

1) I'm no expert but I think I heard that the split peg thing is an intentional thing with newer dolls because it allows the peg to expand more and be tighter? I don't know for sure though but I don't think it's something you have to fix.

2) lol I was glad to see I wasn't the only person who just... gave up re: those stupid little black plastic things. I'm curious to know if anyone can actually get them on.

3) thanks so much for the comparison with the 06 head! The character I'm thinking of turning Len into I was originally gonna use a 6 head and I was actually getting worried that Lens head would be too big. Now I can see it's actually the 6 head thats bigger so I feel a lot better about it.

Yeah...wish I knew the peg part, already, "fixed it," xD but, the little black pegs really are such a small design element...I wonder why they included them, especially if they don't seem to work :/

My Snow Miku has those little black pieces too. I tried attaching them for a few moments, then tossed them back in the box when I realized that they might actually damage the outfit. I might make a replacement for them out of craftfoam or something, but I won't even both trying to attach the ones included when I get the twins.

I didn't have any trouble with the little black things with my original Miku. I wonder if the other ones differ in any way.

Didn't watch the video, but I'm pretty sure I know which black things you speak of. Yes, they are a pain, and Miku's hair is great at getting caught in them and pulling them off of her sleeves. But I do have them on my Miku, and it wasn't easy. Just now reading this it came to me to drill 2 tiny holes in each and use black thread to sew them on.

I finally got him!

Thank you SO MUCH for showing Len's head with the 06. I feel a lot better knowing my guess that the 06 would work for my happier version of Len wasn't somehow a wonky comparison. I want my Len to look more like the box art! Of course Shadow/Bad Boy Len will still have the default sculpt. Can't wait to see him with the proper yellow eyes.

I know this feeling... This feeling is the standard precursor of a new DD arriving on my doorstep luggage in hand.

You'd think that as many time as I've done this, especially waiting for preorder girls, that I'd be used to it by now. Nope. Still the same every time. I think I'd be worried if I didn't feel like this because I only get emotionally invested in something I really care about.
