kranberrijam Posted December 3, 2016 I wanted to see how the Volks one would fit the DDS Boy body, so Miku lost hers to Len for a short bit: Since he's Sister sized, it is a little loose on the arms and legs, but the most saggy area is in the hips. However, all of these spots have seams so they can be taken in (if you're comfortable with that). I'm glad it can be used, as the official promo shots of Rin's official suit looked super baggy, so I plan to modify it to sit and then iron-on the arm decal myself. Monty Posted December 27, 2016 Got a request for people who got both Rin and Len as lottery dolls. Are their eyebrows the same colour? I just noticed my Rins are much darker than my Len's. Lens is the same colour as the eyelid folds painted on the faceup (almost maroon?) while Rins are a darker brown. I don't know if all Rins and Lens are like this or if it's a difference between batches - my Rin was a preorder one and my Len a lottery one. I only noticed cos I was thinking my Len would look better with darker eyebrows to better match the character I made him into. littlebirdzoom Posted December 29, 2016 I was pretty sure I didn't want Rin when she first came for the Nagoya pre -order. So I ordered Len instead. After getting him, I realized I didn't love him as much as I wanted to and sold him. User pictures of Rin and customization started coming in and my heart melted into a nice little pool of doll regret xD So now Rin is coming home. Very thankful for the chance to order! I'm sure there's lots of others who are happy they can finally get their twins now. Just like to me to do something like this haha. I hope Volks releases some alternative outfits from the game for the twins like they did for Miku Waiting for eternity for Volks to release more Idolm@ster girls. Gunter Posted January 4, 2017 Is it weird I keep debating getting a Rin? I just feels like it'd be obnoxiously hard to split off all her stuff. Plus I'd have to go through quite a bit of customization (including a body swap as I don't like DDS much) to actually get where I want her... (I want a smirky/attitude-y Rin). She's just really cute now that I've had to seen so much Rin spam haha. That and the addition of holidays/other doll purchases making it harder to just pick her up. I have all of January to decide, but her face is just so cute I want it so bad! As for splitting her stuff; apparently it's a pain to split the outfit set. Wig, eyes and body isn't a huge issue. I did debate keeping the eyes, but I'd probably change them to green or red as those are my eye preferences. But yeah, I just, I will literally NEVER use the outfit. Never. She'd be completely changed after all. If you really need a place to send her outfit, I'll take it. It'd be fun to dress Miku up as her sister. Do you have any idea what would be a good way to price a split? I feel so out of the loop at what is considered "fair" these days. Personally, I would figure $300 for the head, and add the current price for a DDS body at Volks. Then I would subtract that from the purchase price, and charge whatever is remaining for the clothes, eyes, wig and accessories. Mario Posted January 6, 2017 I just ordered a Kagamine Rin from Volks JP. Does anyone know if there's any delays at Volks JP atm? I know with the recent releases of the Senbon Rin and Len and Idolmaster outfits there will be some form of delay but I am not too sure. Reason why I need to know is because I'm still in Australia, and I won't be returning home until the 30th of Jan. And knowing how USPS is I can't trust them leaving the package outside my home. >< Once I arrive home I will debate if I will get rid of her outfit + shoes for $60-$80. littlebirdzoom Posted January 7, 2017 I finally got my Rin! She's cute as buttons. I love her so much. Volks sent me the floppiest pair of feet and knees though, so I'm not sure what to do about the knees, but I can just nail polish the feet. Also has anyone had trouble with her pants? I can't believe that for something this tight, right on the tension point they gave only a thread to work with to hold it all together.... I am SO afraid of it breaking I don't want to sit her, but she also can't stand because of those ankles. I also had to put those little black arm square plastic things in a bag because they just keep popping off. I don't think I had this problem with my Miku. Hmmm. Minor issues though. I can probably just fix most of them and I think I can reinforce the pants myself. Otherwise she is super cute and I'm happy to have her. I can't wait to get her more outfits and ideally some kind of ponytail wig like she has in some of the videos. I'm glad Volks is making wigs out of this new shiny light material. It's so soft. She's all dressed up and kneeling on my desk and I can't stop staring at her. Her little hair pins are so cute once you get them in, and her little smile and her outfit is just so well done despite the string issue. It fits so well. Volks also glued her eyes in looking slightly to the side and even if it's not supposed to be like that it's such a beautiful touch. She's too cute! I've been watching Diva arcade videos while setting her up and I'm getting so jelly of all the outfits. Volks hurry up and make some for Rin/Len!
