Images from the latest Volks News are starting to appear!

Highlights are more articulated wrist parts for DD, smooth bust and unitorso parts, Halloween outfits, new idolm@ster sets, and mikuzin set re-release. Also, looks like there's a pre-painted 07 head for VIP members to order.

I feel so lucky that there's no DD for this event, but now I want SD Blackjack... sigh -__-;

I literally don't care about anything, but Hinata. I like SD17 Black Jack, they did a really good job with him IMO, but I literally only care about getting a Hinata.

 

A chance at a Hinata without spending $800~$900 is a great, wonderful thing. XD

DDs will be able to move their hands by their "wrists"! That is great! Now they just need to give us feet that turn like that, high heel feet and ballerina feet.

I was seriously about to put up a WTB for an L bust modded to be smooth! I'm really excited, and the new wrist joints should be great too.

I'd probably kill a man to get that kitty Halloween set. The dress alone is just so cute. :3

Personally I'm most excited about the wrists. Not only is it improved movement, but wrist parts individually for sale can mean a set of wrists for every set of hands.

i kinda like the carry bag with the green strap as it does fit in with what i normally wear/use.

Those new wrist joints are awesome! I have noticed how lacking they are in that sense so I'm really stoked. I love the poseablilty of these things and am happy to see Volks working on these shortcomings. Perhaps better neck poseablilty is next?

 

Also I wonder if they say anything about when the mikuzukin set will be re-released. I gotta see how soon I have to scrape up the funds for that one.

The first blog Jadepixel linked mentions Mikuzukin is being released at the DD Gathering, and it looks like the page says that's on the tenth of October. I expect the wrist joints to go up at the same time, and the veg-and-knife stuff is clearly marked that way too.

 

Kind of a shame the joints are normal skin only, but hopefully they'll sell like crazy so we can get the other colors. =P

WOW, those Halloween outfits are gorgeous!! They'd be perfect for the Halloween meet I'm going to next month. Does anyone know when they'll be released?

There have been 3rd party Dollfie Dream wrist parts with the same functionality available on yahoo japan and taobao for a long time. The idea isn't just unique to smart doll.

 

In fact although the joint is not the same as the Smart Doll or 3rd party joint, even my obitsu 50 and p40 bodies have better wrist/hand mobility than my dd's do so the idea could have come from numerous places.

I NEED that Halloween dress with the kitty ears. It's just too cute! Will those likely be released on the 10th of October as well?

WOW! Finally movable wrists!! I been wanting those for so long and now Volks are coming out with their own. I am so going to buy a pair for each of my DD3 normal skin girls!!

The wrists and smooth busts are great options! I tend to modd my larger busts to be smooth, so this will save some time/effort in the future.

Same here. They're only normal skin atm so I might just pick up a set for Sasa. Also Miku wants a leek, I'm sure.

I hope they'll eventually release the wrist parts for MDD too... those are the ones that are such a pain to change hands on >.

I wish they release the flat version busts for (DDS, DDdy). Hopefully soon!

Cool I was wondering when volks was going to ever release posts to have your changable hands to put on, so you didn't have to warm your hand parts up all the time

I hope they'll eventually release the wrist parts for MDD too... those are the ones that are such a pain to change hands on >.<

 

I'm with you 200% there! Those little wrists they come with stock are SO flimsy and fragile, I've had a couple break on me before. Having new ones to mount hands on and swap that way would be really nice!

So many cute things ( x _ x ) I can't wait to miss out on that Mikuzukin outfit once again due to lack of money though At least maybe more will float around in the aftermarket now.

I'm so gonna buy the cat outfit. It's too cute to pass up!
