Vacation/dollmeet in Strasbourg (VERY pic heavy)

We're home after some days in Strasbourg, where we visited the beautiful city and met with the awesome KonekoHigure!

Sydia and I went there to have a (much awaited) small vacation.

 

DAY 1

After the loooooong journey to get there we had breakfast and took a walk near the river Ill.

 

Then we went to the cathedral plaza to met Koneko.

 

We went to her place after eating because the weather wasn't really good (it rained a lot that day).

We exchanged some goods there: Sydia delivered two heads that she made as commission for Koneko, and she gave us some doll parts that she got for us from Japan.

 

Sydia finally got a body for her Primrose and I got a different bust and new eyes for Alba and a new head to reshell Bianca.

 

Almost all the girls' faceup are made by Sydia

DAY 2

No doll activity on this day, but we had a tour of the city by boat.

Hotel staff must think we are perverts by now because we left doll boobs around in our room.

 

DAY 3

No doll activity either, we went to the top of the cathedral (loooong stair) and took some pictures. Since the cathedral is so high and the weather was much better, we could see pretty far.

 

DAY 4

We went with Koneko to the botanical garden of the university.

We had to ask for permission for publishing the photos (and we got it, thanks staff!).

She is much better than us in styling wigs and posing the dolls.

 

I was going to bring Alba with me, but I ALWAYS bring her so this time I brought Diana.

She didn't have much camera time since I got her.

 

We experimented some shots after our dinner. This place didn't come out as we wanted...

 

...but this was much better. They have a light show on the cathedral side at night.

 

Clara fell on the road just after that picture (you can't see in the pic, but it was a 1mt fall), so she's sitting in the next ones

Lovely photos! Looks like a nice vacation!

DAY 5

After lunch, we went for a walk near the river and we took some pictures near the water.

Every 20 minutes a boat full of curious tourist was looking at us, puzzled.

 

Clara was looking around

 

She would like to live in a cool house like that for sure! We know we would.

 

We were still accompanied by the lovely Koneko

 

Later in the afternoon we went to a public park

 

I loved her look, but I was sure she would have been loved more than at our house (in the end, she came back!)

 

Like we started, we finished our vacation with a group shot of our cuties.

 

Later in the evening, we had good Italian food and then waited for our bus to get us home.

We were really sad to come back and leave Koneko after meeting her...

Luckily the travel back, while long, was much less troubled than the first one.

I was able to find all the photos and put them back 😄 Fortunately I could see the old filename from the broken links and a quick search on Lightroom fixed everything.
