Curious about buying a dolfie dream but have questions first

Hi! I am hoping to buy my first dollfie dream but I want to make sure it's a good investment first.

 

Basically I am wonder a few things:

do dolfie dream heads fit onto the smaller dollfies?

does anyone know if a large bust, eid iplehouse doll can share the same clothes as the ones volks sells for dolfie dreams (i know they're the same size, but im concerned about the size of my girls bust/waist ratio maybe not being flattering with the clothing from volks) if you can give me max measurements on some of the clothes that will be fine too, i dont see any measurements on the site.

will these dolls scratch easily? sometimes my other dolls/figs fall down onto where i keep my bjds and i don't want any scratches to happen

can super dolfies and dolfie dreams share wigs?

 

&& anything else you may suggest for someone thinking about buying i would love to hear as well. i was mostly interested in purchasing a 1/4 doll but i really like how dolfie dreams look as i want to have a more cute girl than a mature/realistic girl this time around.

They fit a limited number of non-volks bodies. The 40cm, 50cm and 60cm Obitsu bodies fit dollfie dream heads, depending on the head mold.

I don't know for sure but I believe EID is much bigger. DD is quite slim and EID is more heavy set, and I think taller?

The great thing is that they don't scratch easily. If you have a doll factory painted the face is actually printed on and is quite robust. The dolls are vinyl so light and don't fall that hard, and there's no fragile parts to smash.

There's no volks Super Dollfie with the same head size as DD, DD head size is 8-9 inches. However most 1/3 BJDs from other companies have this head size so you can get wigs form places like Luts etc.

Just clarifying that EID clothing can fit the DDdy body, sort of. The issue is that overall EIDs are taller and thus the size is not ideal. They will not fit it as flatteringly either. YID stuff would fit far better (but again, probably only the DDdy body, not standard DD or DDS.)

 

As another warning do note that pretty much most of Iplehouse's clothing will stain a Dollfie Dream.

( DDdy means Dollfie dream Dynamite, its a slightly more fleshed out body that 'standard' DD. )

Keep in mind that Obitsu neck connectors are very different from Volks, and you might find it difficult to get a DD head on an Obitsu body as is. For my own hybrid, I bought a neck adapter on Yahoo Japan Auctions using a proxy. The YJA seller is Grayforce (http://sellinglist.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/user/grayforce).

I attached mine by trimming the spring shorter and using the obitsu neck part, works fine

Actually, a lot of Volks resin Super Dollfies can wear the same wigs as DDs. My SD and SD13 dolls share wigs with my DDs all the time.
