AerynAerie Posted September 25, 2015 Hi, I have a DDDy Yoko body. I want to change her to a smaller bust so she can wear more clothes. Can this bust fit? http://volksusastore.com/webstores/dollfie/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=2074 Thank you for your help!
Cauldroness Posted September 25, 2015 You'd need to trim the bust to make it fit properly. I've heard some people have been able to stretch the DD busts to make them fit DDdy, but I don't find the result visually appealing. DD busts were not designed to fit on DDdy bodies but, if you trim them, they can fit just fine. Doll Photos & Doll Jewelry Sales: Follow me on Instagram! Yenna Posted September 25, 2015 Yes, you can stretch the DDIII bust over the DDdy body but I'd be kind of afraid of the vinyl ripping (not sure if that's possible) but it really get's stretched. Here'a a photo of the DD L shapely bust on the DDdy body (DDdy bust is next to it): It's especially unappealing from the back because the stretched bust bulges out. Luckily, you can just take an art knife and cut the vinyl shorter (I recommend drawing a line with a pencil first and then following that one). Keep trimming it until it looks good and finish with a sandpaper. I did this to the shapely bust and dobleepented most of the process. What I ended up with was this: Honestly, I think the modified DDIII busts fit better than the original. The DDdy bust gaps all the time and sits really high on the torso, while this one is a nice snug fit. Eustia Posted September 26, 2015 I put smaller busts on some Dy girls (love the hips/thighs, not the melons) and it required no trimming. I keep them clothed so it's not visible, but the fit wasn't uncomfortably tight or anything. Didn't get the impression it would tear or anything. So unless you are going to put her in skimpy clothing, trimming isn't necessary. Just optional if you want the look.

Yenna Posted September 27, 2015 Error-Chan, I'd love to see photos of that. I actually considered that combination for my girl originally, but ended up going with the L bust after all because I wasn't sure of how it would look. =w= Blog & Dimensiondolls Store
