My first custom from a story I'm writing.

Here she is currently. Her name is Celia. last name... Undecided honestly. In the writing I'll make a placeholder name and hope I don't get too attached to it. Also I shamelessly stole Sasara's body for a second because I just really wanted to see How she would look complete.

 

I'll be buying her body (a DDIII L-bust) from Volks this evening so hopefully it will get here soon.

She currently has the blue dollpoint wig and (sea?)green white dolly story eyes.

I love the style of the eyes though. Seeing her in person really affirmed that I was in the right direction there. I do think I'll give her blue eyes as that was my original plan but I like this color on her and I fear blue eyes with blue hair might make her too monochrome. I'll still get a pair in blue

 

As for her blue hair, this is possibly the color range I want. I either want a sky blue color (slightly paler than this?) or a deep cornflower color. I've found a wig in those colors, in a style I want. I'll probably buy both and flip around as I see fit.

 

Any other customizations I do to her will wait until I have these details sorted out.

 

I'll be making other characters from the series as well. I really want to make Ted next but I need to wait for Smart Doll guy.

 

Also please let there be good third party heads because as much as I love Danny Choo I really don't like the way he does faces much!

That second photo reminds me of Erio from Denpa Onna. Looks nice. I've done four girls based on characters from one of my novels, though one is still pending a wig change, and I'm debating a new wig for another, too. It's never ending, really. ^^; But that's the fun of dolls.

@Lady Macaron I actually have had some success with clothes lately. It's not what I originally thought and I still want to get what I had in mind but this can definitely be another outfit for her.

 

The only problem is that the top is a hole shirt (and maybe a bit short). Not something she'd wear but the rest works really well! If I can find a plain white turtle neck it will be perfect.

 

@Eustia Oddly enough earlier concepts of Celia look even more like that with a cuter face and eyes that would match her hair color. I chose green eyes since I decided I wanted some contrast there and she as a character became more serious in nature so I figured a more serious look was fitting.

 

I've been styling her hair slightly differently since that picture was taken so here's a more current shot.

Ahhhh, she's absolutely lovely!! I love her hair and eye color, and she sure knows how to accessorize. :D I have an OC that will be an Alisa as well... The sculpt is definitely more "serious" and kinda enigmatic compared to other smiling sculpts. Liking the mature look!

 

I'm rather interested in your story too! You said she's becoming more serious in nature... Hope her situation's not too dire. :') If you ever wanna share a bit of her background, I'd love to hear, just to picture your beautiful doll in that setting. ^^

Awww thanks! I Really like the OC you made recently as well and I can't wait to see more! She became a more serious character because she ended up with a pretty nasty back story. She used to be more lighthearted because The story she's from was originally supposed to be a light-hearted comedy, however when it came time to create back stories Celia's ended up pretty dark once I was done and it totally changed the main idea of the story although I'm glad to say it kept the comedy elements. It's a nice balance I think.

 

I'll try to explain the basics of it well. In the setting of this story there are different types of Humans with varying abilities. Celia is a mix of two of these types and thus her abilities are rather specific. The world itself is sort of built off of our own. The things we know in our lives still exist, but there's more That we'd be unaware of if we were in the same positions we're in now, but in the story. At the start of the main story Celia has moved to a different town and so very little is known about her by the group of friends she makes. (Really, they kinda dragged her into their group and she ended up sticking around.) She left for several reasons which will be discovered later, however they're pretty sad reasons, long story short life has not been kind to her until this point. I don't plan on a miracle happy ending, but I do plan for things to eventually end on pleasant terms.

 

I'm about done with the first chapter now and I'm debating whether or not to share any of the story before it is fully written since I may change some things. There will also be various shorts and extras of varying lengths from different perspectives as there's some things that I feel will have more impact if they are touched on in more ways than the third person scope of the original story's writing can do. There's nothing that will be missing but reading the extras after the main story will add to the experience.

 

Also thanks about the shirt! Its perfect! The little fur collar is cute too, it's not Celia's style but I'm sure Aria and Melody would adore it.

I'll be ordering the shirt soon. Expenses got a little wild with the Rin and Takane madness going on. Speaking of which, I managed to get both of them and Takane will be used for another OC from this story. Aveline. She doesn't show up in the story until later on, but she's no less important for it. I think people are going to like her. She's become a pretty silly character despite her serene appearance.
