I'm really hoping she doesn't have a smaller head size of Mirai, because some of those head scuplt tests look like Mirai.

Yaaay! I was hoping we'd see something about her soon. Is that a new illustration, too?

 

I'm really curious about how dark/light her hair will be. In these newer illustrations its like a pale purple, but in the older pictures its almost white. It'll be interesting because she'll be the first character to have a really 'anime' hair colour, and I kind of hope Danny makes some other 'unnatural' colour wigs too (pinks, blues, etc.)

 

From the head sculpts it looks like her eyes will be less wide than the other girls' which makes sense given the illustrations of her.

Ooooooooh! I've been holding off buying Mirai in the hopes Chitose would be available soon. Hopefully she'll be ready by tax time next year

I always thought that not quite purple not quite white colour was supposed to represent silver in anime, but maybe that's because I love and secretly hope for silver hair though hehe.

I'll happily invest in a Chitose so long as her head sculpt differs from Mirai. It's hard to think of custom Smart Dolls since they all (so far) have the same head/eye shape.

It'd be great if she came with a different outfit than the other dolls, would love to see her lab coat instead of the much used t-shirt and jeans combo.

So glad that progress is finally being made towards Chitose. She's one of my favorites out of all the mascots.

I've been looking forward to seeing this character, and I'm so relieved to see she'll have a different face sculpt from Mirai and co. That's a lot of test heads! I want to see them properly so we can have some input on them... If Danny can improve the sculpt quality and get rid of that flat face syndrome, well, I'd be more interested in Smart Dolls at least.

Chitose! I love her design and I really hope he gives her a unique look. I love the Smart Doll line and couldn't be happier with my Mirai and Kizuna. Here's hoping that Chitose's lab coat will be made though.

I was really excited when I saw this!! I like Chitose's design but I really hope she doesn't look too much like Mirai or Kizuna. I want to collect Smart Dolls but I really don't like the idea of having a bunch of dolls that all have the same face

Hello!! I'm brand new to the forum!

I'm so psyched about Chitose! And like some of you said I really hope her face is quite different from Mirai but since he is making test molds I'm not too concerned. I'm just glad he went ahead and gave her smaller busts. Baaahh I'm so excited!

I just wanted to subscribe to this thread so I can see the latest updates about Chitose. I've been waiting for her ever since Danny unveiled the different mascots and thankfully it looks like he's working on her finally. I agree with everyone else who stated that the head mold must be different to Mirai otherwise I won't part with my money so quickly and I'm not a fan of the flat face either.

Silver, white, or faint purple hair would all look really good on her. That wig will look adorable if it's done right. The lab coat is a plus for me as I'm also tired of seeing the jeans and t-shirt look too.

Still waiting on Chitose to get into Smart Dolls. I vowed she would be my first Smart Dolls. Originally she was suppose to be #2, then moved to #3, and now is #6 >< I am hoping she doesn't get delayed more. I am hoping 2016 she comes out.

I think I remember him tweeting to a japanese user that he was aiming to have her released in first quarter of 2016 - he's likely just getting Eiji out of the way first.

You could always ask Danny or make a suggestion...

 

There was a shot of a smaller bust being designed in 3D, so I'd assume Chitose will have the same body as all the girls, but with a new smaller bust. Without more info.

 

What I'm reeeaaally hoping is that pink haired girl, Haruka, will come on a more petite body. Actually, looking at the characters again, both Haruka and Chitose are smaller. I want an anime girl that is more petite than DDS, but not so small as Obitsu 50 T_T

Presumably her eyes too - but those are always one of the last things to be finalized, so it makes sense that she would currently have Kizuna's in. I kind of hope they end up a lighter blue (like sky blue).

I have Kizuna (and Mirai and Ebony ) and they are NOT her eyes they are a different blue and style ,

so they must be Chitoses eyes

Oh, man, she's really cute so far! It's always hard to tell from the front, but does her face look like it has better dimension(less flat)?

Because she's covering her mouth?? It costs a lot to cast a head in vinyl, I don't think that Danny would cast a head that wasn't finished, even if it won't be the final version. I think it's just a cute pose ^^

That was exactly what I thought! And I didn't mean that there is no mouth at all, but maybe the shape is not final or a faceup on the mouth is not finished, so Danny doesn't want to show it yet to avoid bad comments.
