Dollfie Dream holiday sweaters for etsy - looking for sugges

I guess I want to get some options before I decide on making some new sweaters for the holidays for my store. I know I want to do holiday/Hanukkah. So I guess my question is, do I make "ugly" / normal sweaters, what sort of stuff do people like: ie snowflakes, snowmen, etc. Even provide me a picture would help.

What about geek sweaters? XD At first glance they look like your normal tacky sweater, but then you realize instead of snowflakes it's something from a movie/game/TV show.

Doesn't look like anyone's done a Madoka Magica one even in people size, but that could be pretty funny: a row of soul gems, Kyuubei, a bunch of Homura's shield? XD

Oh yeah, I kinda forgot about this. I could figure out a madoka one. Its just how much time and skill is it going to take in the larger size XD Ill play around with it.

 

If i can get them done in time i wanted to do at least 2 hanukkah, 2 "normal" holiday. 2 Geek/Tacky sweaters.

If you can figure out a Madoka themed one, I may have to shove some Obi50 measurements at you. . .

usually i make one and then make others, maybe this time I should take commissions. I could make up some mocks this weekend hopefully (trying to think about getting these done before Xmas and how many i am actually capable of making in a month, because i could make a couple designs and then do a preorder on my etsy and limit the amount per sweater.

Sounds like a good idea. Also, even more than a Madoka sweater, I may have a use for one with an MDD size one with a brain on it. I'd explain but it probably won't help. XD

i guess what i should do is make a "commission section?"

 

For my knitting I make one pattern and see how many i can make in that month. But i feel like I should have a limited no of patterns, and make one of each to show, and then take orders this time since Im not in Nov yet, that would give me the moth to make sweaters and have them done before the holiday so they would be ready in Dec.

also right now I dont have a MDD/MSD even to be my model yet. I know i have a get together around the 8th, maybe i can see if anyone has one. I know i can also look at the measurements too. Try to eyeball it, I just would feel more secure if i could actually put it on the doll XD.

I am loving that skull one WAY more than I should.

I think what im going to do is get as many finished by the end of the month and add them to my store, theres a couple off the shoulder/scoopneck sweaters i didnt get to add as well that will go up. i have a couple other patterns but i cant guarentee they would be shipped in time for christmas. Like ill do my best but I can only knit so fast...which actually according to everyone is actually pretty quick XD. Then i guess do some commissions, limit myself so i dont get too behind.

 

Or maybe help me pick a theme for January? I was originally thinking of tweaking my keyhole pattern. IE the hole lands where where her nipples are..and it rolls because i didnt block it, and it should be longer. I also thought about using neon colors (thats what mariko has on) too for these. so i would have 5 (pink/blue/green/yellow/purple).
