Halloween outfits for your girls this year!

Hey hey! It's getting close to that special time of the year when we all get to dress up and eat way too much candy!

 

So who is going to be dressing up their girls this year? And if you are, what are they dressing up as? Please feel free to explain outfits and share photos too!

 

We have several girls dressing up this year but we have a theme going.... Kigus for everyone! Those big, loose, baggy, fluffy outfits look so cute on the girls! It's hard not to have lots of them running around. But one thing we're planning on doing involves one girl in a kigu as well as Becca and I. And another girl won't have a kigu on but she'll be part of the setup as well. If this sounds confusing, here's a hint to help you figure out what's going to happen....

I have to work on Halloween, so weather permitting I'll be doing a kigu myself.

 

The only girl with a "costume" is Annie, and it wasn't really planned, because I wasn't really expecting to win the Moonlit Night Black Cat set. She does look cute though, and I've been thinking of buying a pumpkin and at least doing a themed shoot with her. I'd love some DD sized kigus for the rest of the girls though, I can't wait to see your crew in them!

I don't have any plans right this second, but I DID find three nice cowboy hats at a doll show today! They may inspire me to do something.

My girls aren't actually in their kigus just yet but I'm going to dress the same girls up like you see them in the pics below.

Manami *might* be in her wolf kigu.... if she can stay clothed... Not sure if Miyuki will dress in hers or not.

And even tho I love it on her, I seriously doubt I'll EVER get Sprout to wear her Kyubey kigu again.

My girls are all dressed up this year too!

 

Sasara became some cross between Wizard of OZ and Alice in Wonderland. (She was originally going to wear her lion kigu but she was embarrassed)

 

Miku Put on a long black wig and the older sister Miko set and started waving a knife around. She freaks me out a lot in that set so she's successfully scary imo. I think the hair especially reminds me of Sachiko Shinozaki from Corpse Party which would explain why she freaks me out there.

 

And Celia had the choice of no costume, lion kigu or Miku's idea which was to cosplay as her. Celia chose the cosplay probably so Miku would quit nagging her about it.

The top didn't quite fit of course but that didn't stop anyone.

I've been switching my girls from their summer dresses into more fall-winter type clothes, some of them are a bit Halloween themed too. I can't resist taking pictures of my girls with cute little pumpkins ^_^

I hope boys are okay too ;; Sadly I had no money or good things in the dollbox left for Melina, but Luke and Clive managed to dress up a bit!

My girls are having their Halloween on Nov. 6th so we still have a week til they get photos and candy and such. But a few of the girls are already in costume including Manami. She was up early this morning, hanging bat shaped lights in the living room. Halloween is her favorite holiday so she really gets into it.

 

I snapped a quick pic of her while she was decorating....

My girls got to spend Halloween at my grandma's house. Celia and Aria (I'm most likely re-naming Sasara and I'm getting her little sister Melody really soon!) Just lounged around the house but Miku became a very active participant in the spooking aspect of things!

 

 

We had one group of trick or treaters notice her that was just amazing.

 

One of the little boys in the group was about to turn around but did a double take, went wide eyed and said "That is one CREEPY doll!" Everyone else looked around and wondered what he was talking about until he shined his flashlight on her. When they saw her they all collectively shuddered as they left! It was amazing!

 

I forgot to get pictures of the other two at the house (But you can faintly see Aria in the background) I did get a couple pictures at my house of them!

 

They were supposed to be in these outfits for halloween originally but they only arrived the day before!

Ahh they all look so cute! Just bought my f1rst DD and cannot WAIT to get sewing for her!!!
