To Whom it May Concern,

 

My name is *censored* and I am so new so the ball jointed and fashion doll community that I have yet to even purchase one. I have narrowed my choices to Dollfie Dream Dynamite and Smart Doll.

 

I plan on buying a Dollfie first, as financially I could buy her, a tonne of clothes and wigs and eyes, for the same price as a Smart Doll and some hand poses and extras. I chose these two dolls because of aesthetics. Though a more realistic doll (like DollShe or Iplehouse) gets my gander, I find the idea that anyone would make anything in 'resin' offensive. The materials a break waiting to happen!

 

My foray into collectible dolls started with Reborn baby dolls, though years before that I was very interested in adult silicone dolls. They're rather stunning, especially ones I've looked at from certain companies. So to say I appreciate realism is an understatement. I seek it entirely.

 

Dollfies will be a new adventure for me, a financially safe one at that. I plan on using and modding (or finding someoen to mod) a DD3 bust to fit the DDdy, as the inflated hentai breasts aren't really my thing lol.

Welcome to the world of DD's. Since you're fond of realism you may want to check out the 1/6 dolls from Phicen too. I don't own one as they're not my forte, but they seem to be gaining popularity in the BJD world lately. The stainless steel skeletons would be an awesome alternative in the DD's as opposed to plastic molds.
