missadventure364 Posted November 3, 2015 Hi everyone! For the last ten or more years I have been interested in- and wanted to obtain my own Dollfie Dream. Until recently, that couldn't become a reality and seemed impossible. However, I am proud to announce that I am finally going to be getting my first DD girl *hopefully* by the end of the week! I started collecting ball jointed dolls a few years ago. In that time I've collected many Pullips (and family/friends), some Tonner, Azone, smaller Volks dolls, Obitsu, and even a Mini Super Dollfie. I also collect Figma and Nendoroids, Amiibo, and just about anything else that I can get my hands on that's cute. c(: O love video games and animals- and have my own blog website. I'm probably over sharing, so I'll end my post here. I can't wait to meet everyone on this forum and I really hope to make some friends in the BJD community! It seems like no one in my area is really interested in dolls so I don't have many people that I can talk with about them.
Eustia Posted November 3, 2015 Hi there, welcome to the wonderful world of DDs! Have you decided what girl you're getting/ordered her, or are you still deciding and plan to buy her soon? Since you already have some other dolls, you may be a little safer from the slippery slope which can devour money. >.< I hope you love your first girl, regardless of who you get! missadventure364 Posted November 3, 2015 Thank you! I have no doubt that I will. I did order her already, I'm not sure if she has had a custom face up or if she does have a name. I'm still trying to find out who she is! I'll post a picture as soon as I get her and hopefully someone will have some ideas. I can't say that I'm not on the slippery doll slope though, haha! I've spent a lot of money on dolls in the past few years. I try to get them for good deals- if they're broken or damaged I don't care, I'll buy them and fix them up. Sometimes though I break down and buy one for retail price.
