Hi, afa 2015 is coming to my country is 3 weeks or so, and volks will probably set up their store there, I'm planning to get saber this year, I used to check the price for her on ebay and it would come up with 2.5k to 3.5k sgd, a question, will volks sell saber that price too? Sorry I just got into dd this year so I'm not sure about pricing for her =/

Unfortunately you can't buy Saber from Volks. The different Sabers were released at lotteries and as pre-orders. eBay, Y!J, Mandarake and some other online places are your best bet of finding her but be prepared to pay a lot

Didn't Volks have some Saber Extra and Alters at the previous AFA? or some other event? Pretty sure there were some available then.

Yes, but they were in very limited stock. And if she is sold at an event, Volks sells her for what her preorder price was (Which was around $650 from what I saw?). no wonder she is so expensive compared to other characters, hmm I'll keep saving up till afa at 27th this month and hope to see a saber alter there because I remember it was being sold last year but I don't know how much were they selling because I couldn't make it last year =/

If i'm not mistaken, saber was sold out on the first day during AFA 2014. Better to queue up early, good luck !

Yeah I pretty much predicted dd would be sold out on the first day so I'm planning to reach there early on the first day, btw, does people queue up for the opening time usually? like the new iphone release etc but this time it's dd.

Don't think people queue overnight for them, but people do come early to queue, but not necessarily for DDs

i wonder if volks will come again this year. it is confirmed already?

I got my Saber Alter at Anime Expo this year (so, in July), actually. I'm not sure which branch of Volks travels to AFA (different countries and all. It was Volks USA at AX.) but there's a possibility that they may still have a few left for events. I bought her on the 2nd or 3rd day. They had Saber Extra in stock as well.

It's always best to get to the booths early!

 

If I recall she was around $670 USD, but I can't remember if that was with or without tax.

Volks won't be coming to AFA this year, according to the Event Map from AFA SG site. =(
