How mush does a Beatrice head cost?

What the title says....I've been looking at many pics to find what kind of face up strikes my fancy for my first daughter and I really like the face up for Beatrice. Its elegant and mysterious and reserved but not stoic xDD as for the other face up I like I really like Rina Ogata's for a second daughter that is more upbeat and outgoing.

I have seen mostly whole sets of Beatrice on Yahoo! Japan Auctions. She is quite expensive as a whole set (93k to 160k yen). I saw a head for sale for $600. Compared to how much the whole sets go for, it is not too bad. Surprisingly, a whole set went on Ebay for $710 recently. That is the best price I have ever seen.

Yes you can finding a head mold similar to Beatrice's. Try to see on VolksUSA or SQlabs

I have no idea which head mold Beatrice is. Is she like HDD-02 or HDD-03?

DDH-02 is Aoi, 03 is Yukino.

Beatrice is a limited mold and You cannot buy her head blank or new separately. She's from a limited fullset DD, long sold out and now available only second hand.

So then if I want the head I'd have to get the whole set (body, dress, and accessories)

There are limited chances, that someone will split the set and will sell the head separately. After all, the body is stock (afair) so the head, eyes and wig (and clothes too) are what's making a Beatrice.

You can take a blank DD head that is close to what you want and mod it to make it to look like Beatrice's head.

X-acto knife, diamond files, sanding blocks, Dremel, epoxy putty, primer, paints, lots of work

 

There isn't available just now head similar to Beatrice's. Especially with such a long, straight nose.

Except the DDCH-A, but it doesn't have eyeholes.

Maybe the easiest way will be to modify such head. I mean cut and sand the eyeholes in shape similar to Beatrice. And then put a similar faceup.

first of all you have good tastes to want both Rina and beato since these two are my loved ones XD !

 

I don't think you can get one the available molds to look very close like her sculpt, it's gonna be very hard, but you can make one similar with lots of remodding.

 

Hikaru from flickr does face-ups and can remods DD heads maybe you can try there ! ^^

Cool but if I wanted the hed remodded does it matter which head mold I choose for Hikaru remod?

of course it matters, choose a mold that you think is close to hers but again it might or might not be exactly the same ^^'. Aoi or the head kumi suggested are possible. if you're gonna have someone do it for you, try building a reference album of beatrice to help the person doing it.

I love that they give names to the head molds instead of just numbers.
