Rin Tohsaka and Takane Shijou

I think when it was time to draw for Rin's lotto for the US, it was two days. I doubt more. That's why I'm surprised at the wait. Though I'm not eager to cry myself with losing Takane (it'd be too lucky if I win). I'd cry if I won a second Rin, too, unless someone wants to trade for Takane (or a sale).

 

So we have two days left roughly?

I love the lotteries. I always see it as if you win- great! If you don't then you get to roll that money towards the next fantastic DD release... which we'll likely know about next month.

 

The nice thing about Volks is that there is always something new to look forward to.

Agreed! Altho I've never entered into a Volks lottery before, it seems rather odd to be waiting for anyone to say "I've WON!" for so many days now. Seriously no one has gotten any notification? I hope this wait will be worth it, but as I've said before I've got horrible luck. At this rate I'll just be happy seeing others finally get their winning emails just so I know the waiting is over.

I wouldn't normally read that as meaning no announcement until 15h00 on the 16th, but I suppose something could be lost in translation.

I think that means the other items of the event that will be open at store at 16

With that said they could withhold announcing winners until then in order to prevent people from even trying to add them to their carts. I never read it as meaning that, but that could be implied and not stated outright.

You took it out of its context (Step 3 Payment and delivery options for lottery winners.)

All the sentence is saying (at least from my point of view) is that they expect a long line and that they sell the items at a certain time. And these information should be for either:

 

●To Winners who submitted an entry at VOLKS Store → You can purchase item at the VOLKS Store where you have submitted your lottery entry.

 

or

 

A. Who chose to place the order and pay at a VOLKS Store, the purchase will take place at that store.

 

If they really changed the schedule of the lottery notifications I would expect a notice at Step 2 - Lottery Results Notification not Step 3 :'O

Nah, that's a normal Volks business practice. They don't let you pick up any orders / pre-orders / lottery wins in-store at the same time as the After Event, because they need to concentrate on doing all the After Event sales that morning. Later in the day - at 3pm - they open pickup back up because the AE has died down by that point.

 

It only applies to people who bought at the physical store.

Yeah the thought that all Dolls went to people at the Dolpa occurred to me, but in a genuine lottery system that seems a improbable, but of course not impossible.

 

It's 11:45 am on Friday in Japan right now. If we don't hear anything from anyone by midnight there then we may have all lost, or all the winners are saying nothing, or they have a different schedule for us poor web schmucks and they didn't state that clearly.

 

Someone earlier passed on information from Japanese web entrants saying they hadn't heard anything either. As far as we know no web entrant anywhere has been notified.

Its 12:42 in japan i just ask someone at store, but store dont know anything what webstore does. So there is no other way then to wait, or contact volks per mail ~.~ in my opinion, i think i wont win and the one who win dont say anything, or dont know about this page.... But finally this evening its over, and we can all sleep and looking forward >.>

That would seem like the most likely option to me. One other option would be that they meant to notify us by today but somehow their schedule changed and they didn't tell anyone.

 

But hopefully we'll hear something by the end of the day.

I wouldn't expect that no one won on the forums. Plus there is the fact that the order status hasn't seemed to change any on either of my entries. With Volks USA, my order disappeared when I lost.

Pretty sure they used a different e-commerce system for Volks USA, but I do sincerely hope you are right and it's the same.

Just checked my order and the order number has been blacked out... from previous experience, this is a sign of losing the lottery, not sure if its still the same now...

Well, from last lottery for kirika and alise, I had my letters black before announcement vs my friend who had a link, she received a lottery winning mail later on but I never heard back from volks..

Just checked my order and the order number has been blacked out... from previous experience, this is a sign of losing the lottery, not sure if its still the same now...

When we are saying "blacked out" we mean instead of a web link on the order it is just black text.
