The user pics make that all the more clear. Also I caved and snatched a Takane off of YJA. She was a bit pricier than I would like, not by a huge margin though and considering the other Idolm@ster girls, she'd only get worse anyways. Present! There's one on Mandarake for 130k yen but that's a little high imo. I'm seeing them go for 110-120k as the norm. Come to think of it. 130k on Manda might not be so bad since Buyee (if you're using) charges a fee and then additional shipping from them to you. So, perhaps see what shipping is with Manda. Those eyes are a little yandere I think, they remind me of Ranka's default eyes and she is stunning with different ones. Maybe once I put new eyes in, I'll start falling in love? I've noticed that the eyes look like they need repositioning in nearly all of the Rins we've seen so far. I think the shape of the iris might be the problem? I think she'd look better with round irises as opposed to the oval ones. Her eyes look like they're pointing down as well as crosseyed. Edit: Or not on the iris shape. The v1 Rin linked earlier has them and now I'm sure it's related to the eye positioning. Cauldroness Posted January 28, 2016 Oh goodness, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's not impressed with the new eyes on Rin. I was sitting here worried that it was only me... I think it's a combination of several factors: ~ Narrow iris in a fairly wide eye shape ~ Placement issues; it looks like Volks put her eyes in crooked on most Rins ~ Oversized pupils; they look too dilated -- like she's stoned ~ The big "white spot" makes them look too shiny and even glazed I'm just hoping that, once I put in new eyes, I'll start to warm up to her face-up too. While I haven't seen the anime or VN what I have heard about her character makes me think of Natsuki Kuga from Mai Hime. A character that tops my list of Dollfie I would like to see made or make a custom of. Rin's expression struck me as having an innocence to it, but cheerful is a good description too. It could be the artist wanted to show another side of Rin. One thing I notice about her eyes is the whiter part at the bottom of the Iris is connected to the white dot in the corner. It's like a little comet circling her pupil. I think that is the cause of the glazed look her eyes have. It's hard to really judge from the photos, but once I noticed it in one I noticed it in all of them. I think she will look best with darker more vibrant eyes.
