Broken Joint elbow

Recenlt the internal fram of the left joint of the dolls elbow broke . I know I could just buy a new arm but unfortunately its out of budget . I've tempoarly fixed it with glue and tape. I don't know how to add photos to illustrate my dolly dillema . But was wondering if i could just buy the interal frame elbow part of the doll instead of buying $80 worth of 2 arms.

Volks don't sell limb frame parts separately, unfortunately. Really wish the would.

 

There are some third parties that make (via 3D printing mostly) frame replacement parts, though none I've seen with any sort of shop; usually just on YJA and such.

 

So you'll probably just have to live with the damaged part with whatever repairs you can do to it, until you can afford a pair of new arms. It really depends on the nature of the break to how well you can repair it. You can't post images or links until you have 20 posts, so we can't see yet unfortunately. ^^;

Once you get a higher postcount, you can post 'looking for' thread to see if somebody here has spare parts. Or maybe someone will split the cost of a pair of arms with you if they need the other one. Good luck
