Pacino_83 Posted October 24, 2011 (I am unsure where to put this) My girl has fell and broke her back. >_> Now there was times where she fell and nothing has happened to her. But I guess she wasn't so lucky. My plan is to smiply sell the parts and buy a new body, but I been told that it can be fixed. So, the question: How can I fix the broken spine? Parting with my lovely ladies.
Saluli Posted October 24, 2011 There are some topics over figure.fm about repairing a DD. Probably you will have to glue and reforce with metal rods or plates. I can't find them right now, I am sure someone will point you the way. But, here you can see the inner framehttp://www.figure.fm/post/en/15851/DD+internal+frame.html , so at least you will know how it should looks like. Summon ritual is over. And finally complete. baldylox Posted October 24, 2011 She can be fixed! I had this happen to my Manami too. The 2 piece post that comes up from her bottom half just broke clean off. I totally freaked out about it but remembered I had fixed my DDS girl with something before. Head to your local auto parts place and buy a tube of this: http://www.permatex.com/products/automotive/adhesives_sealants/epoxies/Permatex_PermaPoxy_5_Minute_Plastic_Weld.htm That stuff is pure magic! All you have to do to fix her is make sure you have both pieces to reattach to the base. I took those 2 pieces and put that epoxy on the bottom of them and held it in place for about 5 minutes, which is the basic setup time for that stuff. Once they were in place, I mixed up more and really globbed it onto the base area around the post. I let it dry for 4 hours without touching it and when I was done, I lightly sanded the post with 800 grit sanpaper. This made it so the top torso can slide on and off more easily with less friction. And now she is as as good as new! That epoxy is super strong and it has not given me any problems. If you try this out, please feel free to ask me more on the process, I'm glad to offer more info if you need it. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. Pacino_83 Posted November 1, 2011 It looks as if her spine broke form the base. Do I use glue on that? I'm trying to upload some pictures. Parting with my lovely ladies.

If I can see whats broken and where, I can tell you where to put the epoxy I listed in my previous post. You really need to use that stuff because it will be permanent once it dries.
