Kumoricon, Portland, OR 10/28-10/30/16

Kumoricon is an annual anime and Japanese cultural festival in Portland, Oregon. The year I attended, 2014, it drew about 8000 people. I anyone in the Oregon/Washington area interested in doing anything Dollfie related? I'm not committing to anything. Just trying to find out if there's any interest.

Heyo!

I was actually planning on organizing a doll meetup at Kumoricon next year! I haven't done any of the paperwork for it (gotta fix my schedule since they changed all the dates), but it's definitely something I wanna do. I was even planning on lugging some props and sets for picture taking!

Since next year is projected to draw in at least 10,000 people (due to the better venue, time of year, and having not shoved the artist alley in the literal alley), it seems like a pretty good event to organize something like that at.

Someone did a panel on resin dolls at last year's Kumori, but that was about it. Nothing vinyl related, although someone had their Smart Doll with them.

 

So, yeah. TLDR: if you're interested, I'd love to help host anything!
