Hello from the Netherlands!

That tiny tiny country next to Germany, haha! Hello ^^ To be honest, Dollfie Dreams, DD's, in general freak me the hell out but that is partially because there are these costumes based on them (with heads) and usually there are REALLY creepy people within them (i guess, bad experience) but i fell in love with Smart Dolls idea of the dolls, a few really cute 'fantasy' customs of DDs (elfs, vampire) and especially an SQLab girl. I do not own one yet and i doubt i really will, but who knows! The only 'anime styled' dolls i atm have are absolutely adorable Azone Pure Neemo girls..

Hey, een Nederlander! Wat leuk, haha, bedankt! Ik ben meer een beetje informatie aan het zoeken en neuzen dan echt op zoek. Ik weet niet of ik ooit echt een anime styled doll zal hebben want de meeste vind ik een beetje creepy haha. Heeft u er al een?

Why is it that that DD creep you out but Pure Neemo don't? I think they are quite anime-style as well.

Actually, I think you've got it wrong there. Those Doll Kigurumis aren't based on DDs. They just happen to look similiar because of their anime style, in particular since many Doll Kigurumis and DDs are based on the same specific anime characters. Sure, there are some doll kigurumis that aren't based on any particular anime character but they're still anime-styled. So, there's no relation between those kigurumis and DDs other than the anime style.

I am not sure why they freak me out... its something about the eyes i think. I'm not sure. ^^;; I don't mean it any mean way... and they still look like DDs... a lot.... and yes i knew that, most.. are based on anime figures etc.... I did see a REALLY cute cyclops one though, but i'm not sure if it had a real eye or a painted one....
