archeotech Posted January 8, 2016 The DD eyes that volks carry would be fine for for a smart doll, similar eyes from other companies would work too depending on what style you like. I'd recommend 24mm for size or 22mm if you prefer to have a bit more sclera showing. To change the eyes simply pinch the head cap to remove it and pull the eyes out from the inside of the head, they're only held in with blu-tack, then put blu-tack around the edges of the new eyes and place them in the head to your liking. Thanks for the quick reply. I've bought some eyes with the size u recommended. I'll try to swap them out later this week.

Is blu-tack the same as the white stuff you can use to hang posters with? I used some for my doll's new eyes and I'm just nervous that it's not strong enough. I guess it will set over time. Lilliandil Posted February 26, 2016 Sorry I'm bringing this thread up again but I was wondering if 20mm sized eyes will fit with the female Smart Dolls or will it show a space between her eye opening and her head? I'll stick to 22mm for now to be safe but if anybody knows please let me know I'd hate to buy smaller eyes and not have them fit properly

I'd stick with 22mm or even 24mm depending on the design and the kind of look you want. My Mirai is wearing 22mm Twin Snow eyes (now called Lizanna).
