Cotton Posted January 9, 2016 Hello! I've been lurking on this forum for a few months now, but finally decided to join! ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ I'm Cotton, from France! I'm a huge language lover, have been studying English by myself for more than six years (time flews by so fast, holy potato), and am currently majoring in Japanese at University. I had a chance to travel to Japan this year, which was a wonderful experience! I also enjoy music (I secretly wish to be a classical singer, but I'm afraid I'll not be able to train again for a long time due to uni schedule (´；д；`) My favourite group is "Sound Horizon"), drawing, writing (I love to expand already existing universes by adding tons of details and "everyday" characters---), video games and, obviously, dolls! I've been more or less linked with the hobby since 2012, firstly discovering the existence of Dollfies, Azones, Pullips and others major names whilst searching for dolls based on the anime "Rozen Maiden". Needless to say I was completly hooked on! I immediatly fell in love with the bigger-scaled dolls, but being underage at that time, never owned one for myself. Time has changed! I've finally saved up enough to prepare myself for the big order, which I've been doing since... last June orz You can never research too much! I'm therefore planning to get the dolls I'm interested in (Volks SD FCS-54, DD Erica Fontaine and eventually another DD head for a custom project if possible) directly in Japan! I'm really looking forward to it (I think that being able to do actual "real-life" shopping will really add to the experience! and oh the joy in avoiding product charges on customs taxes) but the wait is slowly killing me! It's getting hard not to cave in and jump on Erica when I take a loot at Mandarake ( ´͈ ᗨ `͈ ) I hope that you're all having a good day, and hopefully we'll meet around the forums! I'm sure you'll have a great time with her. Hopefully you'll make your way to the states someday, we have a lot going on here. Until then, you have yourself a great day...
