Dollfie Dream Pattern Wiki

Hi Guys! I've recently vowed to become more active in the community instead of a quiet lurker.

I collect doll magazines/mooks/books and patterns. It's kind of an obsession for me. I also sew a lot for BJDs, and have tons of patterns for them... But I struggle to find patterns for Dollfie Dreams! Even the BJD Pattern Index doesn't really list Dollfie Dreams (and it has stop being updated as well...) so I think we need a DD Pattern Index!

 

 

I'm going to use this thread for sourcing on DD patterns, so feel free to recommend some and I will add them to the wiki! I would like to have only patterns that can be sewn and worn as they are, without major modifications.

 

 

The following sizes work well for DD sized clothes with little effort:

Unoa Zero - Good swap for Base Body with an L, M or S bust.

Azone 50cm - Good swap for Base Body with an S bust.

Smart Doll - Most patterns will fit DD.

Volks SDGR - Most patterns will fit DD.

Volks SD16 - Most patterns will fit DD.

60cm/55cm Obitsu - Certain patterns will fit DD.

Volks SD10/SD13 - A few patterns will fit. Arms and legs likely to be too short, and body will be baggy.

 

 

Please let me know if you have any info on patterns for DDs!

There are a few threads on here but it would be nice to have things condensed, as well as see what other people have found!

Dollybird is a print publication, often available on Mandarake, so the answer is likely no.

I’d thought assumed this to be a database, whatwith the title, so I’d listed what I knew aha- please forgive me for the assumption! I don’t have any links, no! Dollybird is a magazine, but it isn’t particularly hard to find copies I don’t think.

While technically I don't think those should be in this thread (which hasn't been updated sooo no harm lol)

I do find them quite useful.

Instead you should make a Dollybird DD pattern database

I'm not sure if there is one already (I don't think so), but I think it would be helpful, as I never know what's in what issue.

Oh, that may be good!! I found some of this information through the BJD Pattern wiki, so admittedly I’m a bit unsure of how regularly I’d have information- but if you feel that would be beneficial, maybe I should set about that!

Yeah go for it! I actually just bought one of the issues because I found out it has patterns I can use.

It's ok if you can't update it regularly others can, and it's good to have the info all in one place.

I mean this the DD forum haha it's relevant information!

Made that thread! Since I’m none too sure if that belonged here to begin with, and I dislike the concept of being particularly repetitive, should I go ahead and take that thread reply down? The earlier one in this thread, I mean.
