Beginner flash photography tutorial

I found this blog referenced in a book on flash photography, and it has an excellent primer on unleashing the potential of the removable flash units that you mount on top of your camera. It starts with a gear guide to help you put together a basic off camera flash lighting go-bag for around $100 assuming you already own the flash. It has exercises you can follow as well, and some tips for making your own light modifiers using stuff you probably already have around the house like old shoe boxes. (The people kind not the doll kind.)
