Change one part of a faceup/head

I want to buy this head that someone painted and I like everything but the mouth. Would it still be possible to mod the mouth? I'm sorry if it's a rude and or stupid question >

Do you mean you want to change the mouth make-up entirely? Unfortunately if you wanna change it completely you'll have to remove the full face-up due to the fact that the sealant will appear uneven on her face otherwise.

 

Also there's the matter of usually there is a lot more blushing to the face-up than you realize. One thing removed means another is disturbed and before ya know it it is all kinda needing to come off cause it's beyond repair.

 

If it's just a slight fix...like just adding gloss, or a tiny bit of additional color you could probably just do it on top of the face-up and reseal the full thing afterwords. But if it is anything more than that you're kinda stuck unfortunately. :<

Maybe someone else has a clever idea for a fix though. I'd ask the artist?
