No, they will ship in Summer, but you have to pay them now. That's usually how it goes for pre order things other than lottery items which you pay if you win.

Otherwise if companies only did pre orders through means of hitting a check box like "I want this" then people would back out and they'd be stuck with a bunch of left over and workers that worked too hard for essentially nothing. I definitely thought it was going to work like the Snow Miku preorders haha! Ah well, lesson learned; keep money in the bank when preordering outfits from Volks! I totally understand them not wanting people to back out; I can imagine the disappointment to see all your hard work wasted and unappreciated because a bunch of people decided not to get your preorder item after all.

I've never been charged up front for a preorder doll from international. I've never ordered an outfit that way though, maybe it's different.

 

Getting stiffed on orders is why volks has that whole "banned if you don't pay" thing in place I feel...

Yeah when I preordered Snow Miku there was a small deposit and I figured the outfit preorder would work in much the same way, but nope! I don't blame them for having the banned if you don't pay thing and I understand why, but at the time when it happened I was in the mindset of "nooooooo, all the fees, why did you do this to me *sob*" Now I'm just excited to get the outfit and my Snow Miku!

My lottery Miku just shipped! Other winners should check their order statuses; I never got an email!

Oh yeah, Miku got here today. I was surprised by the weight of the box, luckily it arrived intact.

My Miku arrived today as well, her wig is quite a handful haha

Mine arrived yesterday as well. I totally agree, that wig is amazing and is a handful, lol. I love it. Took me a while to brush it out nicely. I used Volks Mist to style the bangs properly and they came out perfectly. I'm really really happy with this girl.

Mine arrived today along with her Sakura outfit/wig. She is super cute.

 

It was actually Petunia and Poof's photo stories that sold me on entering the lottery for her, and I am glad I did. Something about pint sized and full of attitude resonated with me.

Hey everyone this Miku is my first doll ever and I have a few questions. What should I use to brush her hair and her clothes already stained her chest, so how do I go about removing them?

I use a pet comb with metal teeth. You can also use a tooth brush. In both cases use a new one that has never been used for its original purpose. As far as stains go I use Volks Dream Rescue, but I think most people here use Twin Pines Remove zit.

you can use tangle teezer, (https://www.tangleteezer.com) very recommended for super long hair like miku...

I dont have a problem anymore with miku hair after using this comb

my snow miku wear her default outfit nearly 1 month, plus i put her on display all day at event...

Hatsune Miku. Sorry it was in response to an earlier question about stains, but I should have been more clear.

Thanks for the replies but I just thought about it and the stains can't be seen with her clothes on so its okay. Although just knowing that the stain is there kind of gnaws at the conscience

There were tiny visible spots from the shirt, but there were also large splotches that weren't as visible unless I held her under bright light.

 

I had a spare SWS torso so Miku's is now getting a dream rescue treatment. I'll have to look at a swimsuit style body stocking for her to wear under her default outfit.

So I took the suggestion and bought a tangle teezer comb and I'm amazed at how wonderful the results were. My Miku's hair looks much better!

For anyone who missed out on the Fluffy Coat Good Smile has it up for preorder. It runs through mid May, but could close early if they reach their limit.

I'm so glad Volks made the Snow Miku wig out of the same material as the Senbonzakura wig. Miku's default wig is just awful, I wish they would release a new version of it with the other material.

Here is the breakdown on my Hatsune Miku. The base price of Snow Miku is 65000 yen and Hatsune Miku was 62000 Yen.

The extra outfit would have added to the shipping cost, and I have no way to know by how much. Subtracting the cost of the outfit itself you are looking at something between 78000 to 80000 Yen or $711 to $730 USD not including PayPal fees.

I was under the impression that was the release date for those who ordered it through Volks USA.
