ღ DDH-07 Custom ღ

Hi everyone!

 

I am experimenting with trying different styles and seeing what I can create, so I painted this DDH-07 with the goal of making her a bit softer than the sculpt usually looks. I am trying to blend soft lines and sharper lines together and merge my experimental styles into my unique style ^__^

I like how she looks especially the softer lighter palette you used for her lips, blush and eyebrows. She looks gentle but mature in a sense, like a young lady in her 20s. I think you did a great job with her eyelashes. Love the clean lines. You do great work.

Thank you, that's so very kind I appreciate it. I am still experimenting with getting the colours of blush, shading, and such just right, so that's great you think it looks good ^__^

Thank you I bought it at Volks in Japan when I visited last year, but I just checked the Volks website and I believe it is wig style W-134 in colour B744.

Yes, I agree she's a very mature looking beauty. Seems like the wise older sister type!

She is really pretty, I love the elegant look.

I feel like you have this balance between a stylised and realistic faceup, and it's gorgeous!

Somehow missed this thread, but now that someone else has dragged it back up, wow. I'd love this head with this faceup on a SWS head to put on a MDD body.

DDH-07 is one of the largest heads and would look huge on a MDD body, but that might be what you're looking for.

 

Well it's hard for me to judge. All MDD heads look way out of proportion to me kind of like a doll version of Nendoroids so I really should shut up on the subject.
