Jeans Stains?

Has anyone noticed any staining issues with the Smart Doll jeans?

Yep, but AFAIK it was an exceptional case. I noticed blue stains near a crotch area after a few weeks (about a month). I described the problem here: viewtopic.php?f=51&t=10585&p=173448&hilit=stains#p173448

Washing the jeans twice seems to solve the problem.

I did have some very light staining from the default jeans in the crotch area where it was real tight. I had Mirai in a sitting pose on a my desk for a couple weeks which probably didnt help. Luckily it pretty much wiped right off with some warm water and a paper towel

After watching Danny's unboxing video and seeing how tight the clothes were, I thought to myself, "There's a stain waiting to happen."

Thanks for the confirmation.

It's pretty rare then - my Mirai has lived her her jeans for 2 months and had no staining.

I generally keep her standing so that the jeans don't develop any permanent wrinkles (ironing doll sized stuff is a pain in the butt!) if that helps.

Just thought I would chip in my 2 cents - I haven't had my Smart Doll for very long but I had Mirai in her jeans standing up for roughly 2 weeks before I took them off so I could make other clothes for her and I didn't notice any stains at all I think it's just the sitting down thing for a reeeeeeeeeeally long time that would probably cause it as Danny mentioned in his video.

I haven't had any problems with the smart doll clothes staining(and I had Ivory Futaba in her default jeans for a loooong time), but I'd like to caution you about clothes from other companies. I was eyeing up an SD17 suit for Eiji, so a friend loaned me some other SD17 stuff so I could check the fit. Less than 10 minutes later he was stained all over. Smart doll customer service has been fantastic helping me find the right method to remove the stains, and so far I have made some progress. It's still in work though. I highly recommend testing clothes from other companies before putting them on your smart doll.

Wow.... if washing the Smartdoll jeans turns them vinyl and that vibrant color, remind me not to wash mine! LOL

She probably should have a fancier top to go with those pants. The t-shirt just doesn't quite cut it.
