Changing azone eyes

I would like to change the eyes of a azone 1/6 Chiika ex cute.

I could either paint over the eyes to get a different color, but that could look bad.

Is there any way to erase the original eyes to stick new ones? I heard that it is not possible to stick eyes over the original ones, that it would look bad.

You would have to remove the original face paint with paint thinner or nail polish remover.

I believe it's the same kind of process for removing the face paint of a Monster High or Barbie doll, so if you look for guides on that you should be OK.

I personally use non-colored (important, its possible it can stain if colored) non-aceton nail polish remover, for my MH's, for my BJDs. So you could try that. But i would suggest to look around to see what other options there are and see what you would think is best/like best ^^ Aceton nail polish remover has the possibility to melt some types of plastic or just mess it up.
